Ariana's POV

My eyes snapped open, I was lying on a bed in a darkened room, I heard a faint sound by my right and I slowly turned my head to see Dylan standing by the window, the expression on his face was grave and everything came rushing back to me in an instant

"Aidan" The thought of my son popped into my head and I closed my eyes and tried to bring him into focus but everything was blank, no, it couldn't be, I had given him an enchanted amulet so that I could easily connect with him after the fight, why can't I see him? I closed my eyes and tried once more but everything was still blank, what was going on?

"Aidan" I screamed and in an instant, Dylan was beside me

"I can't connect with our son, why can't I see where he is with my powers? Why is everything so blanked?" I asked him as panic set in
