Chapter Seventy Two

Ariana's POV

I waved at the Lycan king as he dropped me off in front of the Blood Moon pack, I had stayed with the Lycans for a few days before I decided to go back home and he had insisted on bringing me back himself.

Dylan smiled at me from the doorway but as expected, he was standing with his new mate

"Ariana, you're finally back, I've missed you," he said as he walked towards me, a part of me missed him too but a larger part of me was very much upset with him and did not believe a word he said, he opened his arms to embrace me but unconsciously, I stiffened, being in his arms right now will make me crumble and I do not want to fall apart, not in front of him and never in front of Lilith

"Ariana?" He asked when I didn't return his hug, "Are you still mad at me?"

I broke out of his embrace, "I am tired Dylan, I need to rest" I took a step away from him and he grabbed my hand,

"Can we talk?"
