Xavier's POV

(…a Christmas present)

Xavier's life had taken a turn for good, ever since the secret deal with his foster mom. It was another winter season and the holidays had begun. Xavier had celebrated his tenth birthday the previous month and got a restock of his wardrobe from Rita.

“Pack up your things everyone and get ready. We are going on a vacation, in two days time” Mr Anderson had announced on Christmas Eve.

“Where are we going?“ Isabella asked, after embracing her father as he stepped inside.

“We'll find out later, but first let's do some decorations.“ He dropped the bag of ribbons and lights beside the large Christmas tree at the corner of the room.

“I was thinking your firm wouldn't be giving a day off for the holidays” Rita remarked as she pecked the side of his cheeks.

“The new director is considerate. He gave us a whole week off plus a vacation in Miami. For me, There's no better vacation than spending time with my family.“

Xavier's POV (…a monster within) “Where do you think you're going?“ Rita scolded, as Xavier attempted to enter the house, when they arrived from the hospital, late at night. “Get out of here, you murderer!“ Mr. Anderson, who would have defended him, didn't make the slightest headturn towards him as he scrambled into the house like a bruised lion. “You've never belonged here and you never will! Stay away from us. You've done more than enough harm.” She locked him out of the house, after taking possession of the puppy in his hands. Xavier sat in front of the house, as there was no where else to go. The weather had grown stormy. He wrapped his arms around himself, as he tried to produce heat by making hot air from his mouth. He had become ghastly pale from the cold and there was no remedy to his despair. He sobbed bitterly as the death of Bryan pricked his heart. If he'd known things would turn out bad, he would never have tried to help Santa fufil Bryan's third wish. He migrated t

Xavier’s POV (…a new home) Rita must be going through a tough time and maybe Mr. Anderson had kicked her out of the house for infidelity. Isabella is sure to learn a good lesson, living on the streets. Xavier smiled at the thoughts. It was the best payback he could think of after the amount of ill treatments he’d endured from Rita. They drove in a pickup truck with a plow attached to the front bumper. The roads were still heavily flooded with snow. They finally halted in front of a motel, after a long frosty ride. The sun was hot in the new area, and the snow was beginning to melt. “We’ll be spending a night here. It’s closer to the airport.” Charles remarked. Xavier finally asked, as he had been silent, “Why didn’t you come for me all these while? That place was hell and—”. Charles cut in, “You’ll find out when you get home.” Xavier frowned in confusion as they unpacked from the trunk. He had more questions, but Charles countenance had turned furious since his first question. He rem

Xavier's POV(…living as a wolf)It was a perfectly square room. An iron gate separated him from the hefty guard by the door, who was busy with a large syringe. He held on to the barred door after regaining his stance from the push into the cell, and began to yell, tirelessly, “Don't kill me,” pushing his head into the space between the rods in a bid to catapult his voice as far as he could. The guard paid no attention to him as Xavier continued his hopeless cry for help. Did Charles bring him all the way here only for him to be killed?, he asked inwardly, as hot tears flooded his cheeks. His eyes glared in horror, as the guard finally turned to him, holding the same syringe, now containing transparent sticky liquid. Xavier backed away till he hit the end of the room, as the guard approached him. This was the end, he was going to die. A death far worse than Bryan's. He wiggled his head, stretching his hands forward in a way to stop the man from coming close. “Relax boy. It won't hurt

Xavier's POV(…the final fall)A complete biography of his true family was exchanged for two years of molestation, since Anna seemed to know alot about his father. Twelve-year-old Xavier had grown into a warrior of the Darkmoon pack, plotting ways to support the master—Pablo, in retrieving his lost home. He and Conal, the master's beta, had formed a team, as he received trainings from him over the years. Anna's appetite for constant sexual intimacy, even after spilling all that she knew, made him avoid staying indoors as he was careful not to attract the wrath of the Master, now that he was given a higher rank—a gamma. Anna remained an Omega, like the other two females. Although, he had become an addict himself, he distracted himself mostly with hunting along with Conal.Xavier had another worry, now that he'd embraced his new abode. He hadn't transformed since the last two years when he first arrived. “Why can't I shapeshift anymore? Does it have anything to do with the shots I recei

The young boy paused, finally turning to look at Xavier, whose hands were falling weary from the prolonged struggle. Xavier was glad. At least he accepted the offer, hoping whatever he was going to say would be within his reach—he had no means to provide financial support. “We could stay here. Just in case you'll need to kill yourself eventually,” Xavier suggested as they both sat on a rock close to the cliff. The boy wiped his face and began, “I failed again. Diane’s POV(…unexpected reunion) Day after day, more members flooded the pack and increased exponentially, till it was impossible to keep counts—a voluntary hobby she learned, during the few years of her captivity. Some were lucky to hold dignified positions like the pack’s gamma, warriors and lead hunters, depending on their “super power”. The possible threats were instantly killed and served as meat to only Xavier-the Alpha, whose powers were towering beyond the clouds of any living werewolf’s imagination. Yet, his enemy seemed unconquerable for him—the only reason she was still alive, in hopes that he would siphon her abilities, if ever they manifest. Others were left with the scrums- hunters and servants position. In one word, Omegas. Diane was less than an Omega. Slaves were only made to serve the leaders and made sure there was enough for the leaders to eat, at all times. They were not deprived of food, or shelter, or clothing. Diane's POV(…rival pack)Melissa was a stone throw from where she laid when the terrible storm began. She'd gone out to fetch for large branches to shield Diane temporarily from the heavy downpour. A few omegas that usually spent the night outside with her, had gone in, to seek shelter. At first she saw a pair of red glowing eyes, deep in the forest, from where she sat, but assumed it to be one of the hunters who arrived late. She clapsed her arms with opposite palms, shievering from the wind. She felt a soreness on her neck—the rain intensified the injury made by the neck shackles. Then there were two pairs of flaming gaze and then three. Their doubling up was like the fission of cancerous cells. Daine choked in her fright as the group drew closer. She had no mindlink to inform Melissa and other pack members, whom she cared less about. Unlike regular rogues, they weren't dashing through the forest. They were sure to be a rival pack that probably heard of the presence of special wolv

She got an apartment for Ray pending the day of her enthronement as she thought to mark her mate the same night she became the Alpha.“We need to prepare the pyramid grounds and wash it clean. I will be away for a while, Alpha,” Larry announced to her one evening and left. She entered her room and prepared for a good rest. The thoughts of her enthronement has consumed her mind. What if she failed her mission? What If the moon goddess doesn't grant her the title? There was one person she could ring to feel better. She reached out for her phone and dialed Ray's number. Send him to the dungeon instead,” Arya remarked as she contemplated what verdict she was to pass. Trix had been away for a while, so Arya had been in control of her all along. She made up her mind and commanded, “Chain in down in the dungeons until he dies a natural death.“ The guards, whom she was yet to familiarize with, bowed before her and took out Xavier. She didn't know what to do with Jason yet, so she instructed him to be locked up with his father, until she had decided on what to do. “Congratulations, Meagan. Do you know how powerful I've become amidst other neighboring packs? You must be out of your mind.““I'm out of my mind. I love her, father and I love you too. I can't leave anyone of you. It's the only way to avoid a heated war.““There would be no war if we kill her before her abilities return back and we both know it would be twice her previous power. It's a stupid idea to keep such a threat.““You asked for a mate—”The alpha interrupted, “Yes. I wanted a mate for you, not an Omega. This would never happen. I would rather die of my illness that watch her become the Alpha of the pack.““But, If she becomes my mate, we can both lead the pack. She would be a strong woman. Please, father. She has agreed. So, start talking.““I was never in your room and I know nothing of your weakness.”“The CCTV coverage found you on the corridor that night. It's pointless to lie to cover up for anyone or do you want to suffer alone? Speak!“Meagan realized she was framed for a different offense she never committed. “I didn't enter your room that night. How did the Alpha find out? she asked herself as she made sure there were no traces on the night of her escapade. At first, Meagan tried to comfort herself as she knew it had been impossible for the Alpha to terminate her life because of her powers which Larry attested to. “I kept you alive to breed my pack but you don't deserve to live. You're just like your kind. I should have known better then to keep you alive.“ “Are you just going to sit there without taking actions? If Jason is Ill then the potion Larry talked about is working,” Trix remarked violently as Meagan bowed still, dreading the Alpha's next move. “He can't hurt you, remember?
