Chapter 57

Timothy's eyes widened in shock as he took in the state of Evan's home. He had never seen his son like this before. Evan was always the strong and capable one, but now he looked broken and defeated.

"Evan, my son, what's happened to you?" Timothy asked, his voice filled with concern.

Evan looked up at his father, his eyes red and puffy from crying. "She's gone, Dad. She left me and took our baby with her."

Timothy's heart went out to his son. He had never seen Evan so vulnerable before.

Evan shook his head, his body shaking with sobs. "I don't know how to live without her, Dad. I feel so lost and alone."

Timothy got up and went to his son, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Evan. I'm here for you."

Evan looked up at his father, his eyes filled with tears. Timothy sat down next to his son and put his arm around him. " Evan. You're not alone.
