Chapter 39

Before the kiss could happen, Bella got up. She was nervous and confused about what had happened to her so suddenly.

Jason realized what he was about to do; he regretted it, and before he could say anything, Bella was out the door.

He sat there in silence, replaying the moment over and over in his mind. He knew he had crossed a line and hurt her trust.

How will he face her again? Will she forgive him for his impulsive actions? Jason knew he needed to give her space and time to process everything, but he couldn't shake the feeling of guilt that weighed heavily on his chest. As he sat there, lost in his thoughts, he made a promise to himself to make things right with Bella, no matter what it took.

Bella comes back home and lies on her bed. Today was a really stressful day, and it was not good for her baby. She was only three months pregnant, and her hormones were affecting her a lot. She almost kissed her husband's friend; the thought of this was making her feel guilty.
