Chilli POV As I lay in Elias's arms under the starry night, I feel myself getting lost in their beauty and wonder if anyone else from our pack is also looking up into this night sky. My mouth waters as we enter the building, as my sensitive wolf nose can detect the smell of food already. I can't help but tighten my grip on Elias as my tummy grumbles loudly and impatiently. Elias POV The feel of her body relaxing against mine tells me she is finally asleep, and I let out a sigh of relief. "Thank the goddess," I whisper under my breath, gently resting my head on hers. My body too requires rest, but my mind and instincts are telling me to stay alert, for there could be danger around every corner. So for now, I'll stay awake so she can rest in peace, knowing I am keeping guard. The coach comes to a jolty stop to let more passengers on every so often until the vehicle is fully full.
