A few days later.

"Sit back down!"

I grumble as I lower my numb ass back onto the sofa, it's been a few days since taking me to the hospital after the banishing and he still won't let me do anything but rest. It took so much convincing for him to let me move from the bed to the sitting room this morning. But I've had enough of sitting around, I'm bored beyond belief.

"Sit!" He shouts with care again from the other room, but this time I continue to get to my feet, ignoring him.

"I'm fine," I call back as I make my way to the spare room which has become the nursery, I'm so close to being done in there and it's driving me crazy to just sit here when I could finish it off in less than a day. "I just want to.."

"No," Elias appears in front of me, cutting me off mid sentence and stopping me in my path. "You need to rest, doctor's orders," he tells me.
