Chilli POV As Elias does as Erin requests, I go to stand up and make my own way over to the empty hospital bed, to lay down as Erin asks of me. But as soon as I am nearly on my feet and standing upright, a screaming voice full of hatred, anger, and pain fills my head. My ear drums feel like they are about to burst from the shear volume and pressure building in my head, and I can't help but scream myself from the agony of it. 'YOU FUCKING BITCH!' The voice howls at me as I clap my hands over my ears, trying to stop it, or at least muffle the sound but its no use, the voice is deafening. 'YOU CUNTING HORE! HOW DARE YOU! HOW FUCKING DARE YOU!' The voice is so incredibly loud and strong, I can't even hear my own heart beat racing what feels like a thousand beats a second. It feels like it's going to beat right out of my chest or explode. I can't do a thing to stop it, let alone get a word in to ask who or what the hell it wants

Elias POV "Chilli! Chilli?!" I shout at her, but there is no response, "what the fuck is happening?" Leroy asks, completely confused like the rest of us, "did she push herself too much? Oh goddess, is this my fault?" He ponders aloud, his words dripping with guilt as a low growl vibrates in my throat. My whole world plummets around me and all I wish for is for the ground to open up and swollow me whole."Erin?" Maxwell stares from Chilli and then at me as he fills with anger and unknown confusion of the situation. "Alpha Maxwell, wait, please let me explain, it's...." Chilli POV "Chilli...""Chilli..."I can hear a faint voice calling my name, again and again, like a ghost whispering on the wind. Elias POVChilli's wolf sends Maxwell hurtling hard into a bed and equipment on the opposite side of the ward. I look up at her in amazement and concern, she's just picked a fight with an alpha, an alpha at full strength, when she on the other hand, was just laying basicly dead a few moments ago. "Chilli, no! Stop!" I tell her, reaching up to run my hand through her fur, partly to check she is real, that this is really happening. As my hand strokes her soft , smooth fur, I can feel her body vibrating and heating up, she growls at me, but not in a threatening way, in a protective way. I tell her as I recognise the warmth coming off of her and see her legs trembling, struggling to hold her up, "Think about the .." but I'm stopped mid sentence as Maxwell gets to him feet, looking extremely pissed off, growling, snarling at her with murderous eyes. As I feel myself getting more and more worked up and becoming blinded by my emotions, a hand gently touches my cheek. My vision clears and refocuses on my beautiful mate still in my arms gazing up at me, worry clouding her eyes. The sensation of her skin on mine calms and relaxes me almost instantaneously, with a delicate smile, she whispers,"No, Elias please don't lose yourself to hatred like his, please, look, I'm okay too.
