Yvonne looked at Linda with a shocked expression clearly visible on her face.

She really can't believe she reincarnated as a witch

She smiled inwardly feeling so happy, this is in fact the best reincarnation ever.

She can take her revenge on Raymond and everyone who betrayed her in any way she can, with her powers as a witch it will be a lot easier.

"Mia, you aren't talking? Don't worry, in the next gathering you'll attend, okay?" The concerned Linda told Yvonne so as to get her out of her daze of regret of actually she's in one.

"Yes, that's right, I can attend it after decades after all." Yvonne said with a smile on her face. An exulting smile creeped her face.

'Yvonne you're a witch!' She said within her.

"So Mia, what exactly happened to you?

Your mom said it was a clashing of your power with the walls of the forbidden temple, but I don't believe that. Tell me how did you sleep for a whole year?"

Linda asked her to draw a chair near her, clearly anticipating information.

Yvonne was perplexed that she really thinks that she is in the worst enmesh right now. She instantly turned her head to her mirror and picked up a comb.

"Okay, all ears start." Linda said taking the comb Yvonne was holding and started helping her with the combing.

"Well…" Yvonne was trying to find a suitable excuse but none was coming forth.

"Linda!" Marya shouted from the entrance of the room holding a flower vase in her hands and a stick on the other as she hit the stick slightly on the marble ground.

"Yes, queen mother." Linda stood up in fear as her whole body trembled as she spoke.

"Who has the right to come into Mia's chamber without my permission?" Marya shouted with a grilled tone hitting her stick on the ground countless times.

"I'm sorry queen mother." Linda said while bowing her head down.

"Go… now!" Marya shouted pointing the stick at Linda and Linda ran out of the room.

Yvonne looked at Marya trying her best in feigning equivocation, she smiled at Marya as she walked towards her with the stick making a displacing sound with the stick continuously hitting on the floor at every step she takes.

"My dear, have you taken your bath?" Marya asked as she caressed Yvonne's head with her smooth hands, really calming her nerves as she closed her hands to feel the soothing impact.

"No granny, I was about to…" Yvonne was saying when Marya cut her shut.

"Don worry about that." She said and then stopped what she was doing on Yvonne's head and took a seat on the edge of the bed and when she saw that Yvonne's attention was on her she started.

"Mia tell granny the truth, did you lose your memory, you know I can help you get it back?" Marya asked her as she took her hands in hers and slowly rubbed it with her thumb, Making sure they made a clear eye contact with each other.

Yvonne once again found herself in front of an unexpected impediment against achieving her goal again. 

She was confused at what to do, say the truth or lie that she has her memories.

"Granny, I don't remember what happened on that day, that day before I… I…" She was really trying to find a suitable word that would elucidate it better but she found none.

"Don't worry darling, I will explain it to you but you have to know that it remains inside here and between us, no other person will ever find out the real truth about what actually happened to you, not even your mom." Marya said to Yvonne to still maintain eye contact.

"Okay granny." Yvonne replied to her with a slight nod.

"Good girl, if you can remember we wanted to try out soul traveling to the witches second world were the dead witches are, and we needed to open the forbidden wall and it required you using your powers with the eagle sacrifice we made, the gate opened but your entire powers were drenched that's why you fell asleep for a whole year." Marya explained to the totally confused Yvonne who kept looking at her albeit she was very confused.

"Did you enter into the world?" Yvonne asked Marya.

"No I didn't, I can't leave you there and moreover I needed someone with your kind of powers to close it when I entered, so I closed it back.

'Do Mia really traveled to the world permanently after killing herself for it to be closed back.' Yvonne said with her.

"Okay granny but what should I tell the council when they ask me?" Yvonne asked, so as not to take any chances.

"Like I told your mom, just say that your powers clashed mistakenly with the walls of the forbidden temple and if you're asked what you were doing there, just then you went to get a herb for a concoction you were being taught." Marya replied by slapping her cheek slightly in a playful manner.

"But your powers have to be rectified as they are dominant and need something to awaken them, don't worry I will give you some special training." Marya said to Yvonne exposing her whitish 

set of teeth.

"Thanks a lot granny, you're the best." Yvonne said truly happy because she knew that for her mission to be accomplished that she needs to know how to use her Powers.

Yvonne figured out that Mia must have been inseparable best friends with Marya so she has to act along with that as well.

"Mom!" Maudlin's voice interrupted them and made them look at the entrance room.

Maudlin was walking with large strides towards them.

"What is the matter, Maudlin?" Marya asked her when she came closer to them.

"The oracle said that it was Mia that opened the forbidden walls and she also said that after Mia's questioning by the elders that she will personally question her." Maudlin said as she paced around the house.

"What!" Marya exclaimed, trying to act confused.

"Tell me the truth Mia, did you open the forbidden wall?" Marya asked Yvonne while holding her hands tightly.
