My heart involuntarily skipped a beat, as I tried to hide a smile…something is most definitely wrong with me.

The garden was unusually cozy and warm, it was lit up with pretty stars, that stood as a sign that there won't be rain in probably a week, the air felt fresh, probably due to the rainfall, everything felt perfect

“You had friends over”

My heads snapped as I turned to him, his eyes remained calm and untroubled, there was something about his smokey blue eyes that was different from the rest

“They came over….I didn't know who they were till today”

I said and turned my head away from him immediately, I rather not look at him, for some strange reason, I can't talk when I look at him, so it was better to look away
