They spend more than two hours helping those around them. Both Alex and Natalie put an effort so that no more lives could be lost and when everything started to become still, and at the restaurant only those who were able to walk by themselves were still there, Alex started to become agitated.
It was the adrenaline that gave him the strength to resist and help so many people but when everything ended he realized that he could be one of those alphas who were mourning their Lunas.
