“ She told me not to go after Lexie” and her face was full of sadness. “But I couldn’t let her go, not after everything she did. Everything is her fault. Even for the fact that I found you and you didn’t want me…it is her fault” and hearing her words Evan’s heart bleed.

“You are over exaggerating” he said trying to suppress his need to slap her ass for talking nonsense, but he let her continue.

“ Am not!” she yelled in his face.

“I was the one who encouraged her to ask Alexander for help. If she wouldn’t have searched for him I would have never met you. And if Lexie wouldn’t have disturbed our lives, I would have never come with that idea!”
