Chapter 15: Powers Within

Aimee’s POV

It took us an hour long drive to get to the Moon Goddess’ shrine. Once I stepped down, the car drove off leaving me at the entrance of a small house with a large compound. There were so many trees around. In fact, it stood in the middle of the forest.

This was not really what I had imagined when I was headed here. I had imagined white houses, a wolf mark here and there, but it was normal. It looked normal, as though it was just a random person living in this place.

Slowly, I approached the small house, my eyes darting around as I did so. I could feel the energy and aura around the place. It was scary, but also soothing at the same time. No one needed to tell me that this was truly the place.
