Chapter 32

Cole's PoV

Monday 1st April 2019

Yesterday me and Nathan went to Marcus' flat after school and weren't planning on staying over but Nathan has been sick and was too tired to drive home. He hasn't been able to sleep so Marcus stayed up with him for the night because I've got school in the morning. The only problem is I keep waking up every time Nathan goes to the bathroom and throws up.

I climb out of Marcus' bed and go down the stairs with the duvet over my shoulders. When I go into the living room I see Nathan on the couch covered in blankets and Marcus on the armchair asleep with his head resting on his hand. I lean down to kiss Nathan's head and he stirs slightly but doesn't wake up. Then I gently climb into Marcus' lap and wrap the duvet around us.

"You should be in bed," he mumbles, his hands coming up to rub his face. I look up at his face and see his hair sticking up and his bloodshot eyes.
