The room was intricately decorates with a crystal ceiling, a soft cushion seat and a luxurious tea table between the elegant couches. Kieffer put down the cup on the table as he look at the people lazily leaning on his seat.
“How is she?” Kieffer asked as he crossed his arms.
Xegris just smiled at him and didn’t speak. He then sat up straight and pour himself a cup. Kieffer silently stared at him and just sighed.
“You didn’t torture her that much right?” Kieffer then glanced at him and took a sip on his cup.
Xegris chuckled and simply said. “She merely thinks I’m the one who saved her. Funny isn’t it?”
Kieffer paused as he looked at him with doubt and raised his brow. “How come?”
“I just killed the pest.”
“Oh.”
Well it’s best if she thinks that way. It would be easier. Kieffer thought then leaned back
Can I have some gems please! ╮(. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)
The faint creaks of wood and the often cacophony of the water trickling as she paddle away in silence was the only noise Hellion could hear. Xegris was still deep asleep and she’s been rowing the both for how many nights now. It was their fourth day being castaway in the vast ocean. Hellion survived eating those raw fish she painstakingly tried to catch with her own hands while Xegris only sleep like the dead on the boat’s cabin. He never woken up even once as if he was extremely exhausted. She was doing all the work so how come he’s that tired! He’s not even moving an inch! Hellion would casually glare at him and sometimes smack his navel with the paddle but so far he’d only glare back and go back to sleep looking all helpless and pale. She even thought that Xegris must be seasick but he only sneered at her and stubbornly said he’s not. Hellion just snorted and believed that it was the case.
“Where is this?” Hellion asked as she glance over the dead trees on their way. The tree trunk was dark and withered, there’s no leaves on the branches as if the whole forest was cursed with drought. Hellion silently followed the man in front of him and decide not to say another word. It must be like the last time they travel across a forest and got attacked by wolves. She herself, knew she don’t want to experience that again. And thus she followed him quietly. They walked in the coarse soil as the ground was painted with cracks and footsteps can’t even be print to remember their tracks. Hellion felt bad, her face was sewn into a frown. Are they gonna hide here? This would be a perfect hiding spot as it was a barren land but surviving won’t be easy. She collapsed after a few days of not eating and what about the time they are to stay here without water or so?
They say magic was a power bestowed by the gods and the ones who wields the power had sacrifice something in return. The humans and the other race had unique abilities which they have possess since the first war against race. The werebeast gave up their will and became the strongest, humans give up the strength and became the smartest, demons give up their sanity and became merciless, sylphs give up their power and attain holiness and elves give up their judgement and became the finest. While the first war had ended demons won and dominate the world as they began to enslave the other race but no one was happy and satisfied with it.The gods were threatened by the prominent power of the demon race and chose candidates of each race to overpower the demons. They treat them like a plague and the second war had started by a blow of a horn. With the help of the God of Light, the four race suppressed the de
Hellion cautiously walked into the ruins. She’s been feeling a bit of an eerie atmosphere towards the place. There was nothing particular in her sight but she couldn’t help but feel as if she was being stared at. There were lot of eyes glued on her back and in her side as if waiting for an opportunity to jump at her.Hellion stomped her feet as the noise echoed towards the quiet place. She then took out her dagger and sighed. The enemy is just five meters away and they’re all hiding themselves in the debris.Hellion counted in her hands as she nonchalantly tossed away the nonsensical book in her arms. Never mind the charm of it bringing her to a dangerous place. As long as she get rid of it sooner then she’ll be fine.Hellion glanced at the cursed book and kicked it away from her making the one hiding nearby jolted. Hellion sensed it moving away as she playfully stroke the dagger into sharpness. T
“Urk”Hellion spat out blood as the back of the blade hit her stomach. She took a staggering step back and glanced up to the two demons who were swirling their knife towards her.She tilted her head and look at her dagger. It’s already worn out and the blade was already malformed because she cut the thick skin countless times. She gritted her teeth and wiped away the blood on her mouth as she tried to strike a fatal blow again. The two demons evade her as they retreat on the opposite side. Hellion squinted her eyes and look on her right as she managed to dodge the coming blade towards her neck however, the demon on the left side successfully cut through her leg slashing a long wound. Hellion shook as she felt unsteady. She retreat a few steps and leapt away from the two but as she landed her feet she felt the stinging pain of the cut. She darted her face towards them and pursed her
“Crying in such a place. You really look ugly.” A cold voice sounded from her rear as the footsteps began to get closer to her position. Hellion look up and saw the familiar face who had left her alone before. Xegris bent down as he held out his hand to her. Hellion widened her eyes a bit and stared in his hand, dazed. How come when she need someone he always appear? Why is it always him who would come to save her? Seeing him every time she broke down is somewhat unscientific but… Hellion pursed her lips, tears started to build up again. Xegris clicked his tongue as he look at him with slight disgust. She slowly reached out to his hand as he supported her to get up. She then stared at his face which was also had some trace of blood. Did he also encounter danger and fought? Hellion smiled softly as she thought of it. Maybe, he finally repented on his mistake and decided to accompany me. After
Chains bonded into her wrist, her body hung low as the beautiful face drooped, her eyes tightly shut while her brows occasionally wrinkle in discomfort. Hellion was tied up yet again, her dress silently flutter in the wind with her feet floating in the ground. She look like those who were executed for their crime. But what crime have she even committed to resort to this…The room was quiet, just like the place she had been shackled before. This one is also similar but the only difference is that the executioner was with her unlike back then.Xegris sat in cross-arms on the table near her, his eyes remained on her body as the torn dress revealed some portion of her skin. His eyes squinted a bit as a trace of interest flicker in his irises. Hid throat suddenly felt parched as he dug his gaze into her flesh.Hellion knitted her brows as she opened her eyes, sensing a strange
“Gasp!”Hellion abruptly sat up as she consciously touch her neck. A bandage? She then look at her wrist that were also tied up with white cloth. I didn’t die?She recalled the sensation of being pierced as the blood inside her chilled. She really died that time right? Hellion shivered a bit as she felt her blood gone cold.But.. why was she alive? To experienced that moment again or does Xegris actually decided to spare her?She held her head in confusion and glanced up only to see that she was in an unfamiliar room. She sat on a bed enough to fit two and was in a fairly decorated room. There was a tea table on her left and a wardrobe on her right. There’s also a couple of stuff in the room that was intricately designed with black and gold. She avert her gaze into the sheets and found it was stained with a liquid(?)Hellion tried to m
The sun rose up the peak as the whole realm basked in the warm light. Ye whole field cleared as the purple skies turned blue. The whole place was lit as the darkness slowly got engulfed in the strong light. Hellion woke up on her bed slightly dazed as she recalled the strange dream. She slowly wiped her tears away and sat up on her bed. This morning, she really felt sick. No her heart is sick. Why is the dream so sad? It is such a strange dream yet it felt real to her. After realizing the contents of her dream, the silly girl immediately removed the blanket as she stood up from the bed. In a panic state, she ran towards the door and left the room as she hurry along the hall in barefoot. The cold floor slowly bring her consciousness as the silly girl started to sob again. No, he won’t disappear. It’s just a dream, just a dream, it’s not real! Hellion comforted herself. After running briskly on he hall. She finally reached the throne room. Without knocking at all, she burst inside ma
Hellion sat beside the bed as her eyes lowered on the person lying on the sheets motionless. Dev still haven’t woken up. She thought she died but the demon king reassured her.Demons won’t die unless they’re slayed with a purification sword and it’s not the case with Dev. Hellion sighed in relief but she still felt worried about her condition. She remained motionless for almost three days and now is the time she’s supposed to wake up.The silly girl stared at the pale face as she gently reached out her hand to tap her forehead. The skin was so cold that it almost felt like a block of ice. The silly girl couldn’t help but shiver as she immediately retract her hand away.Hellion sighed. Her heard weaving an inexplicable emotion. “If you didn’t protected me, you won’t be lying like this.”She then slowly stood up from her seat and finally left the room with a heavy heart. It was still her so called sister fault but she don’t know what to feel at all. Should she hate her? No. She already
A second after the happiest hour, her heart was instantly broken by a simple yet complicated question. What is this? Why can’t she remember me not even a shred of memory? Does her existence that unimportant? Jeulle had question herself, questions she couldn’t ask to the person who made her felt worthless. Was those many years a joke? A prolonged suffering ends yet a new problem arise. The girl simply felt tired yet she couldn’t sleep. She won’t sleep, not even a wink until her sister get to recognize her. The bond between them was naturally broken because of a memory loss. So that’s why, yeah that’s it. She’s at her wit’s end but she couldn’t help but feel relieved.“My sister? I actually have a sister?”Hellion asked, her eyes brimming with innocence and doubt. This girl, why so silly she couldn’t even remember me. Jeulle sighed a deep sigh, the corner of her eyes ooze with sadness.“After all this time, you still haven’t change.” Jeulle uttered, her face was a bit uncomfortable. If
“Jewel, we found nothing in the palace. Your sister must have been move somewhere else.” Elaine said in a ragged breath as she flicked away the sweat on her face.Jeulle shoved off the demon in front of her as she pulled off the sword from its gut. She then turned her head towards the elf and said in amicable tone.“Gather everyone. We’ll head in to confront the Demon Lord.”“But-“ Elaine said hesitantly as she reached out her hand to her.“Just do as I say!” Jeulle yelled not letting her refute at all.The soldiers finally gather around and disperse to fetch the others. Jeulle stared at Elaine who was now looking at her with full of worries. This girl, she really worry too much.“Don’t worry, I’m not gonna die yet.” She reassured her with a gentle smile. The tw

She then instantly froze as the smell pf blood waft into her nostrils. Hellion covered her mouth as she fought the urge to vomit. The whole mountain was filled with corpse. Every step she make, her soles get drenched in the blood making the person felt nauseous and dizzy. Hellion glanced at the crows who are now staring at her with their beaks pointed towards her.The silly girl gasped and instantly backed off. Being surrounded with corpse and hungry eyes of crows. It’s clear as day that they’re planning to devour her.Hellion ran in the opposite direction
“What’s wrong?”Dev instinctively looked up the sky as the swirling black clouds formed into the center. The fog thickens as the atmosphere turned bleak as if a warning that a calamity is about to reign upon them. It looks like the time of judgement has come. The feared revelation finally knocked on their doorsteps. The trio surveyed the clouds as a tacit understanding lead to them vanishing into a thin smoke. In the crow forest, the demon girl appeared. The trees that wilted and dried up are now drenched in fresh blood. The crows on the branches let out a cry of joy. It seems like they are in a feast with many corpses laying in the ground.Dev wrinkled her brow as she instantly activated her clairvoyant spell. It took a moment before she finally saw what happened before her.A thousands of troops marching towards the bloody mountain as the whole army was led by
“Yo~”Kieffer waved his hand to his pal. Xegris just gave him a resentful glare aa if already driving him away. What is he still lingering here for anyway? He should hurry up and scram to his own realm so that he could disappear in his sight.“What? You’re still not leaving?” Xegris said in an annoyed tone as he stared daggers at him.“I am, just wanna say my goodbyes to my own pal.” Kieffer just smiled ad usual at him. However it can be seen that his eyes were filled with sadness and envy.“Haaah…then go away. Your existence is not needed here.” Xegris bluntly replied.“Well, take care of her. She loves you doesn’t she? If you hurt here then I won’t hesitate to take her away.”“You-““See ya.”Kieffer just sai
Everything seems to be vague and blurry. Who’s that person shouting in front of me? Hellion wrinkled her brow in her sleep. She seems to be dreaming of the past but why is the scenery so hazy. Hellion tossed and turned on the bed.Her head was suddenly filled with noise. Someone’s screaming inside her brain and why is that voice so familiar to her? Is it someone she knew? Hellion furrowed her brows even more as the conversation started to speaking in her head.‘Do you really value your life so little that you even wanted to die?’ exhaled the person looking at her, Her face was blurry and unidentifiable making Hellion confused.‘We have no choice’ She heard her own voice.‘What can we do? We’re bound to separate anyway’Is she really the one who said that? What’s up with this dream? Hellion slowly opened her
The princess was attached to the Demon Lord. There’s no point pursuing her anymore. Kieffer shook his head as he looked at the two people trying to hide their feelings to each other. They must be thinking that the other won’t reciprocate their feelings but seeing them being together was painful than he thought. What should I do now. I came here too late, Just recalling the day she hugged the Demon King on her own accord and in front of him was painful enough but now they’re flaunting the lovey-dovey atmosphere in front of him more. It seems like a warning that no one is allowed to go between them.Kieffer ah…It looks like your unrequited love cannot be recognized. It’s time to give up. No, not yet. Kieffer clenched his fist. It’s not over yet, the princess lost her memories and when the time comes she finally recalled everything…She’ll come back to
