*Blair’s Point of View*
---
Why is it that when you're at school, the time moves so freaking slow? F*ck my life for it.
One of the places that I don't want to be is at school. It's just like a deep, dark, and creepy dungeon for me. But everybody had no choice, just like me. We're gonna be here for the whole damn school year. Sh*t! I got to stop cursing. Marge will surely kill me if she could read my mind.
Damn, I should listen to the teacher now. And it's four, three, two, one.
*Bell rings*.
Haha, lunch break!
I was glad that the stunning blondie beside me didn't bother to approach and annoy me the whole morning. And I did my best to ignore her. Thankfully, I was successful.
Then I grabbed all my things and went straight to their said canteen. I'm going to buy some vegetable salad because I'm so freaking hungry.
---
As I was eating my luscious leafy food in the very far corner of the canteen, three girls wearing the same clothes approached me. And note, one got red hair, the other one got blonde hair, and the last one got raven hair.
Powerpuff Girls? No, I guess they are cheerleaders.
And as usual, I gave them my sweetest smile and asked them politely, “What can I do for you, girls?”
They looked at each other, looked back at me, and then they said in unison, “Welcome to Pryce Winsley Academy!”
“I hope that you will enjoy your stay here in our school.” The redhead uttered with a broad smile plastered on her beautiful face.
“Yeah, thanks, I---” I replied but was cut off by the blonde-haired girl. “And by the way, we are looking forward to you trying out for the cheering squad. It's never too late!” She let out excitedly, and all three of them giggled.
“I... act---” Okay, that's two. I was cut off again, and this time it was by the raven-haired girl. “I'm Maggie, and I'm the co-captain of the cheerleaders.” She uttered and held out her hand for a handshake, so I took it and shook it. And the blonde-haired girl took my hand and shook it as well while she introduced herself. “I'm Rachel, cheerleader officer, and I will be the one to teach you all about our choreo and all about cheerleading.” She uttered happily, and still, she's not letting my poor hand go.
“Girls, stop it. You're making her uncomfortable.” The redhead said with authority and looked at me. Thank goodness, there's one of them who thinks the right way.
“Look, we're sorry if we bothered you, but my name's Leanne, captain of the squad.” Said the redhead and just smiled at me warmly.
Okay, I just sat there and stared at them with my blinking eyes because it happened really fast. Are cheerleaders always this snappy? Or do they have super speed abilities just like me?
“Ummm, so... you are?” The three of them asked while pointing at me.
“Oh, sorry. The name's Blair.” I answered and looked at them one by one, and their smiles were not fading. Aren't they tired of always smiling like that? Maybe it's a cheerleader thing.
“Wow, even your name's beautiful,” Rachel let out, and the three of them nodded in agreement.
“I... uh, thanks?” I uttered, and I think these girls are something... well, I don't know. I am not used to talking to humans that are my age. I don't really have friends and don't socialize with anything at all back in Transylvania. But that is about to change. That's the goal. Make some friends—human friends.
“Umm, so... you're coming for the tryout? It will be this Wednesday at 4:30 pm at the gym.” Leanne asked with hopeful eyes, and they have their hands together, holding tight as if their lives depend on it.
Sh*t, what is in their minds that they think that I do cheerleading? Do I look like a cheerleader to them? Oh, maybe because of these clothes that Marge bought me. They are so colorful and fancy. Absolutely, it's not my type to wear. If I could just have the freedom to choose what I want to wear like before, but no, Margarette took it all away from me.
“Well, honestly, girls...I don't do cheerleading, and I don't know how to do it, and---” I explained but was cut off by Maggie. “We could teach you everything.”
“Yeah, you don't seem so hard to teach,” said Rachel.
“And rhen your body is perfect for cheerleading,” Leanne added.
What the heck is wrong with them?
“I... uh, cheerleading is not my thing, and---” I replied, and f*ck again. But this time, a different voice cut me off.
“You can leave the freak alone, girls. It's like she doesn't want to be popular in this academy. But that's great. Being humble like a pie.” The arrogant owner of the academy butted in with venom in her voice.
“Uh... okay, Miss Winsley,” Leanne uttered, and they were about to stand up when the newcomer spoke again. “Maybe you could find someone way better than this girl. There could be a lot around who this one isn't even half of them."
Alright, she's not just a b*tch to me but acts like a queen. Okay, what have I gotten myself into?
“Yes, Miss Winsley. And, Blair, we're sorry to bother you,” Leanne said with a genuinely apologetic look on her face.
“Well, I--” sh*tface, this is the hundredth time I was cut off today. And I'm really mad now, and I can feel my face heating up in anger.
“You should not be sorry, girls. Freaks like this person don't deserve that word, especially from you, cheerleaders.” She remarked and smirked at me.
And I was struggling so hard to hold my irritation anymore. Like, hooo! I should relax. Calm down, Blair. She is just a human—a weak but pretty annoying human. This entity doesn't worth it to be the reason you will get expelled on your first f**king day of school. F*ck it, I really should stop cursing starting this day.
“Said the b*tch who doesn't want to admit her own fault.” Yeah, I finally spoke up straight after a million years.
Then I noticed that everyone in the canteen who were eavesdropping was taken aback when I spoke, especially their queen. Hmm. Look who's about to talk and will be cut off.
“How dare----” she began. “You,” I said as I cut her off with the sweetest smile I could master.
And now, who's turn to be angry and about to explode? Damn, I just love seeing her face like that, well, even way back from the bookstore the other week. I could not get over it. She is so... Cute? Yeah, a bit.
And before she could speak another word, as quick as a wink, I stood up and brought my things with me.
Then I ran away as fast as my human form could go for the sake of my life with a big smile on my face.
Damn! That's the craziest thing I did today, and it indeed feels so fudging good. Yeah, I guess fudge is a good alternative for cussing too much F word.
I could see that the students stared at me like saying, 'you are about to go to hell'.
Pfft. I don't fudging care. I don't give a fudge to anybody, especially their queen. I don't care if she owns the academy I am in. I pay my tuition. I will follow the rules and policies.
Yeah, I have read the handbook, okay? As long as you follow the rules and do your obligations as a student, you won't be charged with any. I have paid my tuition in full. I could even buy this damn school. But I won't tell anybody that I got a lot of money. It's more than they can think of. Well, I got it from an old and abandoned cave mining site back in Transylvania. I found lots and lots of precious stones, diamonds, and they cost a lot of cash for sure. So, it makes me richer more than I could imagine.
---
I kept running until I came to a place of peace—the library. Yeah, I love books, but I never actually finished reading one. What can I do? I don't find them good and interesting content. I stop halfway, mostly. But I still love them. They look so good and smell so good, aren't they?
Well, I still have thirty minutes before my Chemistry class with Marge will start. I will take a nap here.
Then I went to a very far area that no one would like to go to, so I could sit there comfortably. I grabbed a random book on the shelf and kept walking.
I sat and opened the book in my hold and made it stand on the table in front of me. Cover me up, bookie.
And I set my watch to alarm at exactly ten minutes before the class starts.
Finally, I closed my eyes, and I dozed off to sleep.
---
As I was walking in the corridor, someone tripped me, and I clumsily fell on the floor, face-first. And I can hear laughter everywhere around me.
As I looked up, those same electric blue eyes that always give me this strange feeling met my green ones, and she said, “I won, freak, I made you bow down to me. Mwahahahaha!”
Wait, something is not right here. Why is she laughing evilly at me? And she sounds like a cockroach with a very tiny voice.
Then suddenly,
*PAAAAKKKK!*
The book in front of me was shut so loud that it made me wake up from that nightmare. Wait, do you call it a nightmare when you sleep at noon and have a bad dream? I don't think so.
But whoever did that, I will surely kill them and rip their hearts and throats out. Then I will suck all their blood and not leave a single drop in their body. I'm furious as fudge!
*Cassandra’s Point of View* --- As I am crying and staring at my best friend's dead body, I felt something that has been building up around me. Its power is familiar. It's Blair's force field. I looked in her direction, and she's all on fire. Then her opponent's arm that has been holding her started to fade. And later on, everything around her turned to ashes. Oh, no! I tried to escape from her force field, but I couldn't. It's too strong. "Claude! Stop!" I heard Aunt Claudia's scream while she's also struggling to be free from the force field that Blair created around every witch. I could feel that Blair is up to
*Blair’s Point of View* --- "You're pretty much stronger than I thought, Hybrid." He spoke with a horrid voice. The werewolves indeed become bigger and stronger as the moon rises from the east. And I know that the witches have no match with these monsters. "Oh, really? I thought you were much stronger than I thought. Is that all that you've got?" I sneered, and clearly, it's pissing him off. I want to measure how strong this monster is. Then Damien attacked me, but he was just so slow, especially now with his bigger body. He growled and attacked me again with his claw
*Alison’s Point of View* --- How am I gonna escape from his hold? My shoulders are in total pain, and he’s about to eat my head. Damn, he got awful breath. I kept on holding his neck to make his big nasty mouth away from my face while I kept trying to kick him, but it was no use. "Ali!" Blair yelled, and I couldn't see her anywhere. "This monster is very strong... I can't… I can't... Aaaargh!" I can barely say anything since I'm losing strength. Then Blair shoots a fireball at him, but he seems unmoved. He started to get burned, and finally, he moved away from me while he was busy killing the fire around his body. "Are
*Pryce’s Point of View* --- "Alright. Then we fight with all we have. Just be safe always in here. I'll be checking on you from time to time." Blair told me, and I wonder if I can join their war. I want to help. "Um, can I fight with you at the battle?" I asked her, and with that, she looked at me sharply. Damn, wrong move, Pryce. She seemed angry or worried. Well, I guess both. "No! That'll never gonna happen. You stay here with my cousin, and if there is a need for me to be here, I'll be around." She let out, and I just agreed with her. There's no use in disagreeing with this scary freak. "Remember, everyone, that tonight, the Super Blue Blood Moon will light up t
*Pryce’s Point of View* --- "Hi, Mom! Everything's fine. So far." Blair said and hugged the person who just arrived. Okay, it's her mother. "Hey, Aunt C! I got some news, but I'll tell you later." Cassie greeted the woman who had been wearing a worried face and nodded her head. What was her name again? It's Claudia. What I knew is that she's Cassie's very strict aunt. "Good day, Your Highness!" Alison greeted her while bowing to her. Wait, Your Highness? "Good day too, Alison!" She replied to the girl, and now, her gaze is on me. What should I say? Damn it! It's my gi
*Pryce’s Point of View* --- As I opened my eyes, we were already here in my room. I looked around, and I saw Blair while she was trying to check if everything was in place. "They've been here." She uttered, and that shocked me. Damn, they knew where I live. Well, it's just really hard to believe that I will be killed tomorrow by those monsters. But the future is the future, and I don't have any idea how we will prevent that. "Are we safe here?" I asked her worriedly since she started to build a force field around my room. She has mentioned that it weakens the werewolves' senses. "Yep, for now," Blair replied and t
