Diego’s POVThings were a little crazy. I was so busy spending most of my time away and figuring things out with Marley. Storm was training everyday with my warriors getting stronger and stronger. She took on her role as Luna with grace. We had plans in a week to go visit Marley he hadn’t found anything on two pure being mates but he said he could help us rein in our gifts. They were like powers after all and him being a warlock he knew a thing or two. I was currently up in my office when I got a link from one of my warriors.‘Alpha when you get a chance you should come down here. The Luna has out powered us now. Storms POVI woke up from my nap a few hours later. The sun was setting I couldn’t believe I had slept so long. I was getting more and more tired these days. Storms POV The next morning the first thing I did was jolt awake. I could feel the bile rising in my throat. I jumped out of the bed and ran straight to the bathroom. I heard Diego follow i must have startled him when I jumped up. He came in and held my hair just as I puked into the toilet. “I’m sorry.” I said before I puked again. “Baby don’t be sorry.” He brushed his fingers across my forehead. I wiped my mouth and sat on the floor. These pups would be the death of me. “Here’s a wet cloth.” Diego handed me a rag and I wiped my face before I wiped my mouth. Diego’s POV It had reached the end of the week I hadn’t heard from Marley and was beginning to worry but I was trying to keep my cool. We had an appointment Monday and we’re going to do a blood draw to find out what our triplets were so we could plan for the party on Saturday next week. I was currently in my office just staring at my phone waiting and waiting. Storm was in the kitchen making lunch her belly seemed to grow daily. I jumped as my office door opened and she came in. “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to scare you I made BLTs!” She came in with two plates. The sandwiches piled with bacon. Storms POV I had put together a whole chicken style pot roast and put it in the oven on broil. Then I went and sat down to watch a movie or two the roast should be done by then. I touched my stomach and closed my eyes. I had life in here I had to think about them. Storms POVIt was Monday. We were currently in the pack doctors office getting blood work done and an ultrasound. “Are you guys ready to see your babies?” Doctor Greg asked. Storms POV It was the day before our gender reveal party. We had sent off our invites out to our pack members and my parents they thought it was just a cool out but little did they know. Storms POV The day was lovely. Not too hot and not too cold. I could feel the air rushing through my hair giving me new life. The boys giggled in their stroller at the birds, bees, butterflies that they saw. Just as soon as I felt at peace I heard footsteps coming quickly. My whole body tensed ready to attack but then I felt Jared’s presence. “What are you doing out here?” I wondered surprised. “I wanted to spend time with my family. With everything going on I’ve neglected it for far too long.” He then wrapped me up in his arms and buried his nose in my hair as he took a deep breath in. I felt not just mine but his tension as well leave our bodies. He let me out of his embrace and held my hand and together we pushed the stroller through the trails talking about when we were growing up, old friends, all the things we should have done so long ago but we got caught up in a whirlwind of chaos. As we ended our walk and made it back to the pack house I rested my head on Jared’s bicep.

Jared’s POVMy phone on the night stand began to buzz constantly. It pulled me out of my slumber. I fumbled for it my fingers finally making contact I looked at the screen squinting. They were messages from the main surrounding clans. They agreed to meet. Some even disclosed they had seen weird beings in red robes lurking about their territories, eyeing their pure members. Even sightings of Diego were being sent. I closed my eyes and exhaled then I peered over at Storm she was still fast asleep I gently stroked her hair for a moment. Jared’s POVI had put out SOS invites to all the nearby packs hoping they would respond with urgency. I asked them to meet in two days time we would be set up in the clearing. I kept raking my hands through my hair slamming my hands on the table. I could feel the hurt and anguish pouring in from Storm. She wasn’t trying to hide it. A part of me was grateful. We had a strong bond but she was always holding a part of herself back. One I would never blame her for though. I was thinking of her and the boys. I just wanted them to be safe. So many plans and arrangements would have to be made. If they found out we had left our pack unprotected would they come back for the boys? The fire it climbed up a building. People that looked like shadows were running frantically trying to get away but the fire it engulfed them. Finally I could hear, people were screaming and crying. Jared’s POV I laid on the alphas sofa my arm over my face. I could hear Storm…my luna weeping until she could weep no more. Diego asked me to take care of her and the boys and I would do just that. But until the boys were old enough I had to take over as acting alpha…I would never be the alpha Diego was but I would do what it took to make sure this pack ran smoothly.
