Heartbroken

Carolina felt all the blood in her face drain in a split second. Her feet turned cold and goosebumps covered her whole body.

She turned to look at Connor whose expression was something she could not explain or read, he just stared at the projected picture without saying a word, his face cold and veins starting to pop on his neck.

Carolina gulped down nothing as Connor stared back at her with mixed feelings. He was horrified by what was on show for everyone to see and was as well disappointed in Carolina for stooping so low and worse of all for playing him by making him believe that nothing happened that night.
