Clayton gripped Amarah’s wrist tightly after Gabriel informed him those rogues are coming towards his territory and that they are here for Amarah. He looked towards Bradley and Jacob, and they immediately nodded at him, leaving the venue to warn the warriors and border patrollers.

He noted that Liam had already started dispersing the crowd, telling them to go back to their houses in an orderly manner. Several patrollers also assisted especially the elders who might need some assistance.

“I have to get you out of here,” Clayton said to her firmly. He turned towards the crowd, looking for someone before he turned back to Amarah. “I’m not going to let them get to you, alright? I’m not going to allow it.”

“I’ll take care of her, Clayton,” her mother suddenly piped up. Her sister, Arianna also nodded in assurance. The four Gamma warriors from their pack, who came to train his warriors few weeks ago flanked t

The Gamma warriors also assisted them, making the preparation much faster.Amarah suddenly turned when she heard a long and loud howl from outside. She gripped the boxes of syringe she had taken and then turned to the other direction when ferocious growls and yowls of pain could be heard. She shook her head, stopping the distraction she is experiencing and went back to her task.“Amarah, you need to stop,” her mother said calmly behind her as Amarah placed both hands on her head and continued to think of things that she needs to prepare. She carefully lifted the table tray and walked towards him and placed it carefully over his legs and sat beside him. She reached for the bowl of fruits and handed him a peeled and sliced apple.“My worries got the best of me,” she answered honestly. She took a slice and bite on it, chewing slowly for a while. “But I promise to eat well now that I know you’re going to be okay.”He wrapped an arm around her shoulders and kissed her side of the head.“Mom already linked with Ella,” he commented calmly. “Once I get discharge here later a

It was late in the Friday evening and Harold came back to the pack territory to report to him that his younger brother, Clayton is already engaged to the wolf less girl.Apparently, the attack made by him and their allied rogue packs on the night of the Engagement Ceremony didn’t deter the announcement. He also noticed that she has a soft spot for children, who would immediately run towards her when they will see her. They will then look inside her bag for the sweets she always had ready for them. Although there are still some members who are still quite hesitant accepting her as the Luna of the pack, Clayton knew in time she will be able to win their loyalty and affection. Most especially the elders, who always had believed that a Luna with no wolf will not make the union strong because one has something missing. He went back to his side of the car and was about to go in to drive towards his office at the pack house when his mind was suddenly intruded. “Well done, my brother,” Conrad linked with him snidely. “Word is going around

Three years later… Clayton watched anxiously as Amarah breathed in and out as she is clutching his hand tightly on a very early Thursday morning in their room, at his house. He watched as she closed her eyes and tried to control the pain that she is going through right now. “Oh, God, that’s worst,” Amarah finally stated. “You also said the last one was worst,” Clayton countered as he wiped the beads of perspiration on her forehead. “Are you just trying to pacify me? It’s not working, I’m telling you that.” “You’re the one who put this on me,” Amarah teased him with a smile. Clayton stared at her dumbfoundedly. “Amarah, if I knew that I will be going through this as well, I would have waited a little bit more before putting that child in you,” he argued lightly. “I am not ready to go through this process.” That earned a laugh from Matt, who is sitting on one side of the room and patiently monitoring Amarah’s condition. Clayton gave him a good glare. He turned back to his wife, w

She smiled sadly. “I could have done more,” she answered softly. “But I guess I overexerted myself that

Clayton with thick tears in his eyes stood, clenching his fists tightly and watched as the fire slowly crawled up and make its way to Amarah, immediately surrounding her body. He breathed out heavily and felt his mother’s hand on his back, gently comforting him.I love you, my Amarah, he thought in his mind intently.Slowly, as if his own feet have their own brain, he took steps towards the platform until he is only a few feet away. His mother followed behind him and stayed behind his back as the heat being emitted from the fire increases. As the fire started to crawl over her body, he felt a strong gust of wind blowing at them. His mother hugged his arm and buried her face in his back until it subsided. He turned to make sure that she is okay before looking back at the fire.Another gust of wind strongly passed by and it passed directly through the fire.“What the heck -?!” He heard Gabriel from behind exclaimed. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, a strong and blinding light shot down

Gabriel, with his hands inside the pockets of his jacket stared down quietly and intently at Catherine’s tomb. His eyes wandered towards the words written on her white, marble epitaph and he gripped his fists tightly. “Life is not Forever. But LOVE is.” He glanced up a bit when he heard a howl in the air, signifying the end of the mourning period. For Amarah. Instead of the tradition’s usual five days of mourning, King Atticus had decreed that the observation of mourning for Amarah will be extended for two more days. This is because of the influx of wolves from all over the kingdom that wanted to pay their last respects to the Saville woman, who had unselfishly given her all to treat those who needed her help. And it has been seven days as well that Gabriel has been visiting his mate’s tomb and would just stand there for hours without saying anything. Gabriel heard some rustling behind and he raised his head up and waited. “Everyone’s starting to gather at the grounds,” Conrad i

She rushed out the office she occupied to rest for a while, her heart pounding.“What’s happening?!” She demanded loudly as she saw the wolves in the center that are strong enough to check, crowding towards the entrance of the building. She pushed her way in the crowd, her eyes straining to see what they are all looking at. “What’s going out there? Is it Clayton? Please don’t tell me it’s him!”When she finally made her way at front, she saw Matt together with Mr. and Mrs. Langston, several steps outside and looking towards one direction, his face grim.
