The Future Alpha Is Safe

“Our Queen…”

Michael's eyes widened in astonishment as he beheld the Dragon Queen standing before him.

Why had she protected them from Bismarck's fireballs? Was she not supposed to kill them just as her king was doing to his pack?

“My Queen, could you please explain your presence here? I was under the impression that the King said—” Bismarck was speaking when the Dragon Queen interrupted him.

“I will be taking this man and the boy away. If you intend to kill them, you must confront me first. Are you certain you wish to do that?!” The Dragon Queen spoke with a calm demeanor, yet her authority was unmistakable to those nearby. Just her presence alone spoke royalty and authority.

Bismarck's eyes widened at her declaration. He would never dare to challenge the Dragon Queen. But why would the queen want to save these people?

Nevertheless, he felt compelled to obey the Dragon King’s orders and assist in annihilating everyone from the Snow-White Moon Pack.

Bismarck found himself in a difficult situation. He wondered which of the authorities should he obey.

However, his wicked nature compelled him to obey the Dragon King’s orders over the queen.

“Pardon me, my Queen. I must implore you not to place me in a difficult situation.

The King's command is to eliminate everyone in this Pack, and you know I can not go against the King's wishes. Therefore, I humbly request your mercy so I can carry out my duty.” Bismarck spoke, his head still bowed and kneeling.

The Dragon Queen let out a chuckle that sounded like music to Michael's ears.

He wondered if the queen could fight Bismarck with his delicate composure.

“Then I take that as a challenge. If you have chosen to fight me, so be it,” the Dragon Queen replied, raising an eyebrow, her smiling still not leaving her face.

Bismarck lifted his head to meet her gaze and gathered the courage to voice his thoughts, fully aware that it was impolite to address the Queen in such a manner.

“But, my Queen, with all due respect, do you intend to act as a traitor? Because the instant you take the Alpha’s son and his Beta away, you will be deemed a traitor in our realm.

You are fully cognizant of the rules prohibiting assistance to our adversaries. As a leader, and with all due respect, shouldn’t you be setting a good example for our people?”

Although Bismarck's tone seemed respectful, there was a discernible edge of rudeness that everyone could detect.

He just didn't care about the fact that he was talking to the queen of their realm. All he knew was that he was on the dragon king's side, and he might do whatever it takes to fulfill his king's wish.

Suddenly, fireballs began to rain down upon them, notably aimed at Bismarck. However, being skillful, he swiftly dodged them.

Five to seven dragons transformed into their human forms, with one of them charging at Bismarck and seizing him by the neck as he roared...

“HOW DARE YOU ADDRESS THE QUEEN IN SUCH A MANNER!”

The two engaged in combat. Even though Bismarck was stronger than his opponent, the rage emanating from the other dragon was evident as he clashed with him.

“Enough, both of you!” Michael heard a woman instruct Bismarck and the dragon he was grappling with.

“My Queen, we apologize for our tardiness.” The late-arriving dragons knelt and bowed before her.

“Rise, all of you…” the Queen commanded as they got back up, then inquired, “What happened to the others?”

“They're protecting the children and the elderly, my Queen… Please take these two and leave; don’t concern yourself with us. We’ll hold them off long enough for you to escape before the King realizes.” One man explained to the Queen, who nodded and then addressed Michael.

“Rest assured, I will not harm you. Get on my back when I transform, and I’ll ensure your safety. However, I need your trust to make this happen.” The Queen assured Michael, who was bewildered by the unfolding events.

Wait! Are they saved? Just like that? Just what in the name of the goddess was happening?

“YOU TRAITORS!” Bismarck shouted in fury, his eyes shifting colors as a sign he was about to transform into his dragon.

“Traitors? Did you just label your Queen as a traitor, Bismarck? It appears you’ve gained confidence after serving the mad King. How dare you!

We would prefer your label of traitors rather than betraying our own sanity!” spat one of the dragon women on the queen mother's side.

“What have these packs done to us? Our King annihilates them and destroys their Packs for no valid reason… Yes, we are dragons and powerful, but that does not warrant blind loyalty to his stupid actions.

So yes, I’m ready to be deemed a traitor, you sycophantic fool!” exclaimed the man who had fought with Bismarck earlier, seething with rage. The nerve of the stupid fellow to ca their Queen and them traitors.

“Uhm... I will trust you, beautiful woman. But you must save my parents afterward. I can't leave here without them, please. "

Everyone turned towards the little boy as his tender voice rang out.

Theo had been staring for a while, and his little brain was able to catch pieces of the situation. Thus, he asked the queen to help save his parents.

The Dragon Queen offered him a sorrowful smile, then, without uttering a word, transformed into a magnificent, large white dragon. It laid down and waited for them to climb at it back.

Michael quickly climbed onto her back alongside Theo, gripping tightly as the dragon lifted off. They had expected a dragon's back to be rough and rigid, but to Michael's surprise, it felt somewhat softer than he anticipated.

The notion of being in the air almost knocked the wind out of Michael and Theo.

If it were on any other day, they would have enjoyed the scene under them. But no! That day was a day to never forget.

Bismarck also transformed, and so did the dragons accompanying him. They were furious and wanted rk chase after the queen.

However, before they could pursue the Dragon Queen, her dragons transformed as well and engaged in a fierce battle against Bismarck and his companions.

The Snow-White Moon Pack was engulfed in flames, and blood was splattered everywhere. Women and children were screaming, fleeing for their lives, while others were caught in the blaze. Homes were ablaze throughout the pack. Everywhere was in chaos.

Perched upon the back of the dragon queen, Theo observed the scene unfolding beneath him with a pained expression.

The seven-year-old boy wept bitterly as he witnessed the demise of his pack and family, one by one. Lifeless wolves sprawled on the ground, while some of their human forms were engulfed in flames.

The whole place reeked of death and burning flesh.

The fight between the dragons and the werewolves escalated dramatically with the werewolves losing rapidly.

Michael cried out in anguish, watching the devastation of his pack. He held Theo closely, desperately trying to redirect the boy's gaze from the carnage below to the horizon ahead, but Theo stubbornly refused.

It was as if some magnetic pull was holding his face to the scene on the ground.

Theo's eyes fell upon his parents, who were fiercely battling a foe, with parts of their bodies charred. Tears streamed down his cheeks as he softly called out for them… “Mom—Dad.”

His quiet sobs only added to Michael's sorrow as he spotted his Alpha and Luna fighting valiantly in their human forms.

Both Alpha Noah and Luna Crystal soon noticed Theo, soaring behind a dragon above them.

A smile emerged on their faces at the sight of their son. They recognized the white dragon instantly and felt relief, knowing their boy was in the care of the dragon queen.

They had heard many tales about her, and the Pack Oracle had foretold that a savior would come to save their future Alpha —Theo.

The Oracle assured them that Theo had greater responsibilities waiting for him, and the Moon Goddess would ensure his survival.

Seeing their son safe, Alpha Noah bellowed, “The Future Alpha is Safe! Fight With All Your Might!”
