Two Years

Sixteen: Corbin

Two years, it has been two years since I have talked to my best friend. Then again, the last time I was at the palace I didn’t even get to talk to him at all. So, it has actually been something like three or four years now. I just couldn’t believe it that the last time I was at the palace he ran off somewhere and I didn’t even get to talk to him. I don’t know why he did what he did because no one would tell me what was going on with him. Only that he was being sent to Alpha training school.

All of last year I tried to call him. His cell phone would just go to his voice mail. I left so many messages I must have filled his voice mail up. Then last year I started getting the message “The number you are calling is no longer in service. Please check the number and try again.” Like what the actual f*ck does that mean. So, I do the next best thing and call his best friend Evert. I find out what his parents did to him also that Elijah seen the

What Am ISeventeen: Corbin I don’t know how long I was in that bathtub before I heard my father come back into my room and my daddy left me alone in my bathroom. I close my eyes and Elijah’s face pops into my head. His smiling face along with his intense eyes that only ever saw me when we were together. He had this way of making me feel like I was the only one around even if all of us were together. I don’t know why Elijah has been on my mind more now than when he left. Maybe because yesterday is when daddy told me that we were going to his graduation on Friday. Everyone will be there. So, I don’t know why I’m so confused, excited, and worried. I hear the door slowly open and then close. “Hey Corbin, I heard your going through your first heat.” I open my eyes to see Paden sitting on the floor right by my side. I shrug my shoulders at her not really knowing what is going on, only what my daddy had said to my father. I close my eyes as another wave of pain goes

Graduation Day Pt. One Eighteen: Elijah Today is the day. I don’t really know how to feel about it. These last couple of years have been the best. Well not when I first got here but after my first shift. Everyone actually started to see me. I know it was because instead of a scrawny kid I became big and buff overnight. Thanks to Leo, Chad, and Char for training me I didn’t make an a*s out of myself on the field. They had taken me every night out into the woods to train me in human and wolf form. Thanks to them I know how to control my wolf spirit and also become one with him. Aragorn on the other hand still to this day says I’m not strong enough yet to emerge. I don’t know how much stronger I can become. I’m in the middle of packing my clothes. Later today is the graduation ceremony. Then tomorrow I will be leaving for home. Back to my own pack, yay!!!! Can you hear the enthusiasm…. NOT! I sigh as I close one suitcase and open another. It seems my clothes hav

  • The Prince and His Omega   Nineteen: Graduation Day Pt. Two

Graduation Day Pt. Two Nineteen: Corbin I’m so nervous about seeing Elijah that I cannot sit still. I’m already dressed and waiting for everyone else to come down. I couldn’t stay in that overcrowded apartment with everyone. I was starting to feel like I couldn’t breathe. Just sitting here on a bench under a big, huge tree that overlooks this little pond that the ducks seem to love to swim in. Contemplating my life and what I want to do in the future. “So, tell me what is going on in that head of yours.” I jump a little bit looking behind my shoulder and seeing my daddy standing there staring out over the pond also. I let out a sigh, looking back again. “You know you cannot hide anything from me. For instance, I know that you and Elijah have been best friends since you were little.” I stiffen as he walks around the bench and sits down next to me. “I also know that your friendship has turned into more. Something like a puppy crush on him. Then when he left you

  • The Prince and His Omega   Twenty: Next To Her

Next to Her Twenty: Elijah Waking up is normal on any other day. Today it is very different. For some reason I feel lost and confused. Ever since yesterday when I seen Corbin, I have felt off. Feeling her eyes on me throughout my whole graduation ceremony was just weird. Then it got weirder when all of us were going to change back into our clothes and Char jumped out and cornered me. Just for a couple of seconds I had taken comfort in her touch. Then I smelled a smell that reminded me of Choco on a cold winter’s night. You know the kind your mom would make you with the peppermint candy mixed in with it. I had just registered that smell when Aragorn came to the forefront of my mind with so much rage that I was seeing red. I don’t know what happened exactly, but I ended up hurting Char with some kind of bright light that burst out of me. After that happened, I tried to talk to Aragorn, but it was like he was just gone. I had helped Char to her room and laid her

Lake House Twenty-One: Corbin I felt someone slid in beside me. I didn’t move, just kept staring out the window, that is until I heard the tell tail sounds of someone sniffing me. I stiffen my shoulder in disbelief as I lean my head down a little and sniff myself. I don’t smell anything but the dial soap I used when showering this morning. I lean back a little towards the seat as I glance over my shoulder. I stiffened once more as I swing my head back to the window. My heart thudding in my chest as I feel my hands sweat, my breaths coming quick. I hold my chest hoping that my heart doesn’t beat out of it. Elijah is sitting so close to me that our legs are plastered together. This is going to be one hell of a long ride to the lake house. Every time he moved, or I heard his voice flashes of what I had seen the day before flashes through my mind’s eye. The way he held that she-wolf’s hips, molding her to him. Her arms wrapped around his neck. One hand in his hai

Drunk Elijah Twenty-Two: Corbin After getting a little tipsy the parental units show up. Hascal and Eric were quick to hide the alcohol. I couldn’t help but laugh and run to the beach stripping off my clothes down to my bikini. I felt eyes staring at me, but I don’t care right now. I know that my body is toned and looks good as I have been training with my dad and daddy for the last two years now. “Damn Corbin where did that body come from?” I turn to look at Tabby and Aleah. “I’ve been training with dad and daddy of course.” I tell my sister. “Yeah, and I think all the guys have noticed to.” Aleah says with a wicked smile. I look around and see Elijah staring at me. I blush and shrug my shoulders as I run into the water. *** I’m worn out as hours later it is dark out and I had done it all just to get Elijah out of my mind. Now it is dark out. The bond fire is burning high and bright as I watch our parents disappear for the night. The guys once again break o

Second Night Twenty-Four: Elijah The day had flew by. No one said anything to me about Corbin being missing from her cabin this morning. I did, however, get a few looks from Tabby and Aleah. Corbin must have made them promise not to say anything. I don’t know why as me and Corbin have been friends our whole lives. Sharing the same rooms. No one could ever break us apart. So why are they so worried about us being together now. It’s not like Corbin has feelings for me or anything. Not like I do for her. I mean sh*t, she wants to be just friends…. Just friends…. I don’t know how to be just friends with her. We are all on the beach once more. It’s starting to get late, and the bond fire is going once more. Corbin is with Tabby and Aleah as I’m with the guys eating a sandwich doing our girl watching thing. “So, how was Alpha school? Looking around her eyes landed on Hascal. “Savvy, what is wrong with our son?” Randy asks as Lexi has tears running down her face, hovering over her son laying on the floorboard. With a sigh Savvy sits up as she leans back with the back of her hand pressed to her forehead. Lexi looks over at her with an imploring look written all over her face. “It’s the bond.” She states in a sad voice as Randy becomes stoned faced. “How can it be the bond when he rejected her?” Ronin suddenly asks. “Because she didn’t accept the rejection. They are still connected….” Randy says in almost a whisper. Looking at his son’s form laying in his mother’s embrace. She had somehow scooted herself on the floorboards, laying his head on her lap. “Don’t you remember the stories of Fated Mates from our childhoods?” Tobias says as he

I hear my Uncle Randy and Aunt Lexi arrive, their voices behind me. A sense of foreboding takes hold of me as we round the corner of the building. Looking around the grounds has me confused. I don’t see any families or pups anywhere. All there are a few males here and there. All of them were wearing the black robes of the Elders. Some tan ones that are Elders in training. How did you mess this up so badly.” The High Elder glares at Char as he finishes raising the soundproof window between them and the driver. Char pulls her seatbelt over her shoulder without looking at her father. She knew what was coming. All he has ever cared about is establishing himself with as much power as he can. Never thinking of anyone but himself. Char sits back as she listens to her father’s heavy breathing. Knowing he is not done yet. That there is still more and if she tries to talk him down. Looking at the screen, I see my mother’s name. Opening it quickly. “Where are you guys at. We are gathering now to leave.” I say softly not wanting others to overhear our conversation. “We are at home. We had to get some things. There is not enough time for us to get back. We will just meet you all there….” I grunt at my mother’s reply. “Son.” I hear my mother’s voice soften. Making me want to cry like I did when I was still a young pup, hiding behind my mother’s skirts. “Don’t do anything drastic like you did last night. Turning, she sets the cup down with a smile on her face. Tobias moves behind his mate. Grabbing her by her hips as he smells her sweet scent. How I let you go and how I decided to take charge. To take what was rightfully mine.” Tobias, still holding onto his mate’s hips. Throws his head back and laughs out loud.
