Despite my disappointment when Noah's phone call goes directly to voicemail, I remained determined not to surrender. I left a heartfelt message, expressing my concern for his well-being and kindly requesting that he reach out to me upon receiving my message to confirm that he is alright.

Leaving the voice mail message didn't provide the satisfaction I sought. There is an undeniable yearning within me to see Noah, and I couldn't deny that I am strongly drawn to him. Perhaps it was the courageous role he played in rescuing my children from captivity that awakened this attraction, or maybe it has always existed within me but remained suppressed.
