Artemis' POV

We were both silent as the car returned to Palais. I kept looking at him but he didn't look back at me. His cold eyes remained as his eyes were on the road. I just bit my lip hard and sighed.

I also couldn't apologize because there was nothing wrong with what I did. I just did the right thing. I already told him before that I would help to get the mastermind of the kidnapping. This is my way of helping, so what's his problem? I don't see anything wrong. I can't just let him know my moves too especially since I know he won't agree. He always wanted the work to be polished while I often wanted to get work done quickly.
