They spent about twelve hours on the plane and arrived at night.

Alberto helped Lucia carry her suitcase outside the airport, where many taxis were already waiting.

Lucia silently prayed that everything would go well. Alberto hailed one of the taxis and asked Lucia to get in.

The driver climbed into the car, and Alberto returned to the airport, where he was about to make one more trip to Minnesota.
