Esme had indeed come to pick Tommy up at the hospital on the orders of her mother-in-law, Mrs. Berliana.

"Mom, why are you going outside, the weather is so cold later you can get sick again," Esme said as soon as she got out of the car.

"It's okay, I just miss the atmosphere of Minnesota," said Mrs. Berliana, "Tommy, I want to talk," she said later.

Tommy glanced at Esme, motioning for her to leave. Esme did, and she walked away.

"Have you met your father?" His mother can't wait to know Zoku's condition.

"Yes, as suggested by mother," answered Tommy. As usual, he was not too interested in discussing his father.

"How is he? Did he wake up? Did he recognize you?" Mrs. Berliana was so enthusiastic.

Tommy rolled his eyes lazily, "He's in a coma, ma'am. But, the doctor just sent a message, his condition is getting better." Tommy can't help but keep telling it.

While at the hospital, he deliberately asked for the number of the doctor who would examine his
