Kelly was visibly delighted when she saw the magnificent building. "As expected of a conglomerate! Come on, Summie. Let's go in for a tour."

Summer was helplessly dragged along. She felt a little uneasy. The two of them were behaving like visitors from out of town, and she was afraid that he would be angry if he found out.

Charlie reassured Summer that it was entirely appropriate for her to visit the company since she was the president's wife. But Summer was worried that their presence would disturb the employees' work.

It was hard to imagine a group of people barging into your workplace, pointing their fingers, and poking their heads around. Anyone would have felt uncomfortable.

Unexpectedly, when Summer stepped into the building, the employees warmly welcomed her. When everyone heard that she was visiting, they lined up to greet her.

Both men and women dressed in formal attire dropped their tasks at hand to greet Summer. It was the same in every department they passed through.
