Since Caroline had said that she would settle the issue with Summer the next day, it meant that the latter would face a confrontation then.

It was terrifying to think about what the punishment would be. Would it be life-threatening? Summer was overwhelmed with thoughts. If she continued to overthink, she would go crazy.

However, she hoped that everything would turn out for the best. She decided to deal with it one step at a time.

Once Summer left Caroline's room, she saw Howe waiting outside for her.

He leaned against the wall with a weird grin on his face. He was shameless enough to meet her again.

Summer almost began scolding Howe, but he covered her mouth first.

"Summer, let's discuss this calmly. If you start screaming now, other people will notice us."

That sounded logical. As such, Summer pulled Howe to an empty room on the third floor. It was a guest room. Since it was empty, she could confront him there.

"You bastard! Why did you set me up?" Summer rarely cursed.
