James didn't continue, but Summer knew what he wanted to say. But since she had already challenged Caroline, there was nothing she could do now. It was pointless to regret it.

Lying on the bed, Summer buried her head in the blanket, appearing nonchalant.

Summer was startled by his words. She felt a shiver run down her spine. She didn't feel good at all.
