Besides, Summer was wary of Howe. Though he was always cheerful, her intuition told her that he was dangerous. He appeared to be lying in wait for her.

"Summer, please call me whatever you want. You don't have to be nervous in front of me. I don't have anything important to tell you. I just wanted to chat with you."

Howe sensed Summer's worry, so he assured her.

Yet she remained anxious because Howe had a mysterious look on his face.

When they had been having dinner, he had exposed her for not being close to James.
