Chapter 103

Lexi didn't understand how Summer could be so calm.

She asked, "Mrs. Quigley, aren't you worried? We were in an accident, and I'm afraid we won't be able to reach the party on time. Mr. Quigley might get angry."

"If he wants to get angry, then let him. I just experienced a life-or-death experience. I'm glad to even be alive," Summer complained.

But she wasn't wrong to do so. If James hadn't caused so much trouble, she wouldn't have had to go and get her outfit and makeup done, let alone get into a car accident.

It was all his fault.

As time went by, her mood improved. Before they knew it, ten minutes had passed.

The road was now quiet. The stars shone in the sky, and the occasional breeze carried with it a refreshing scent.

Summer thought it would be better to sit and stargaze instead of worrying so much. That night, the stars gleamed in the sky, looking bright and gorgeous.
