Chapter 224

“…Thanks for your compliment, I shall begin my work!”

Summer started typing quickly.

Now there were not many courses. So it was easier to prepare for the lecture because there was less content.

The big room was very quiet, except for the sounds of her tapping on the keyboard, echoing through the room.

It was nothing to her before, but now it seemed to her that even the typing was so clear and loud.

After a while, the lesson’s preparations were finished. She did not feel hungry, nor did she feel sleepy, so she sat down on the sofa, and turned on the TV.

She had little interest in sitcoms, soap operas, or comedies, and when she switched to the legal drama, she pressed the ‘play’ button.

The length of the legal drama was not short. The complete story lasted about one hour.

By the time Summer looked up at the French quartz clock in the living room, it was 10:30 p.m.

She usually went to bed at ten o’clock, and it was now past that time, and yet she did not feel hungry until now.
