Louis trailed behind Deathly Shadow, they were accompanied by a total of twelve men. They entered a derelict tower. It was located in a dense forest. The tall trees and shrubs concealed it. It had not been in use for over a century and people barely came to the forest, but Louis could not help but check behind him now and then. The place gave him the creeps. The tower had been cloaked with a spell for precaution. Louis doubted that the vampires could find this place because there were a lot of smells, from different plants and animals but you could never be sure. Deathly shadow crinkled his nose, “I smell something. Something went down yesterday. Louis yearned to see his sister and get the whole planning and plotting over and done with. He also wanted to get out of here as quickly as he could, the steps leading to the summit of the building were old and not in use, so Isabella and the men were on the ground floor he pushed open the doors which were unlocked for some reason... “I tho
Alessandro groaned, if the circumstances were different he would have considered it almost hot that she walked in on a meeting like this and interrupted it fearlessly, he had never met a woman like that.He already had a lot on his plate and the last thing he wanted to deal with was to clean one of Isabella’s messes. “Isabella”, he called out to her, “Leave this place at once", he stared at her sternly. He silently prayed in his heart that for once she would obey him, but of course, she stuck with being a dominant female that wanted to have her way by any means necessary. “Don’t tell me what to do Alessandro!”, she retorted, “You’re inhumane and...”. “You’re one to talk aren’t you?”, Alessandro flared, “Your brother had you kidnapped, I did it in...”. “He would never have hurt me!”. Alessandro visibly fumed, “Good for you, but your brother poses a threat to the existence of my kind and I would kill him if I have to protect the lives of the innocent masses...” “Innocent masses you
Isabella found herself in her usual dreamscape, she was sitting on the bench, everything looked realistic and she wondered if this was more than a dream, the dark-haired lady she had first seen in this dream approached her. “Why do I always find myself here, where is this place?”, she asked puzzled. The lady sat on the bench before answering, “I do not have the answers. I just sometimes see you here and I come to talk to you". Isabella shrugged, “My life is one big story isn’t it?. On the one hand in my reality I have to deal with crazy vampires after my life and on the other hand in my dreams, I don’t even understand why I keep coming here”, she studied the woman’s features, you look a whole lot like me”. The lady chuckled, “You know I could say the same for you". She peered intently at Isabella, “I see the reason why now. You’re a strong lady”. Isabella shook her head, “I’m many things but strong isn’t one of them, I’ve been abducted, my family killed, I’ve lost control over the
Isabella stripped and wrapped her body in a robe. She came out and meet his piercing gaze, she tried to avoid eye contact. She sat on the edge of the bed and she slightly let the robe fall down her shoulders revealing her back. The few minutes it took for him to react felt like hours, she had never felt so self-conscious. She sat still for a while until his fingers traced along her back, she shuddered and a slight gasp escaped her lips. “You are not supposed to do that”, he said in an almost inaudible whisper. “You were not supposed to touch me either remember”, she said fiercely but it was hardly fierce, his touch always made her weak and lose control of her abilities. He ignored her and continued his careful examination of her back with his fingers. His fingers trailed along the length of her back, in a soft soothing caress. He seemed to linger for a while but it could only be her imagination. She felt herself flush every time his fingers came in contact with her skin. “You have
Isabella stormed into the kitchen, Marie turned to look at her as she walked in, “Are you okay little one?”. She nodded, “I’m fine. Yes, just fine, nothing is wrong". Marie pulled two chairs and sat on one gesturing for her to sit on the other, “Now you have me worried. What happened Isabella?”. "Nothing Marie, nothing that concerns me..." "Well if it didn't concern you, you wouldn't be fuming and wearing that long face", Marie cut her short, "So it definitely can't be nothing". She pulled Isabella closer to her, "Whatever is the problem Isabella please let me know..." “I don’t know”, she fumed, “It’s Alessandro, saw him in there with that lady...”. “Gwendoline?", Marie questioned“Yes, that one”, She answered. Marie smiled a knowing smile, “And that makes you angry? I’m not experienced with these things but isn’t that supposed to only happen when you like the person?”. Isabella’s eyes bulged, “No that’s preposterous!. Not happening! impossible!”. Marie laughed this time, “Th
Alessandro had broken his episode with Gwen abruptly. After Isabella had shown up, he sent her off, he couldn’t continue. Gwendoline had been bitchy about it, he however did not pay attention to her. Luckily for him, his father had sent for him that moment and he had a good enough reason to escape her grasp. The meeting with his father had gone better than he expected, brief and straight to the point, the bloodline kings had taken the issue at hand seriously. The weight of the problem was not on him only, he would be getting help from other vampire princes... Meanwhile, he needed to check on Isabella, he walked into the training room and the sight before him caused him to see red. Isabella was in the grasp of a guard struggling to break free. She seemed desperate to break free, she was however no match for his vampire strength. The vampire's hand encircled her waist and his fingers were interlocked, she strained against him. The guard seemed pretty aroused with her constant writhing
Louis sat deep in thought, Shadow conversed with a few men before they finally left. He had a lot on his mind, more than anything he wanted his sister with him. He wanted Alessandro dead. He was not ignorant of what kind of danger they were up against, he had heard the tales, and he had witnessed his terror first-hand. Shadow drew his seat closer to him, “I see you have a lot on your mind". “The issue at hand is pertinent and needs careful consideration”, Louis answered him. “All will go as planned”. “You seem very confident for one who has lost men to Alessandro”. Louis replied, "He will single-handedly wipe us off the surface of the earth" “The sorceress on our side will guarantee our victory", Deathly shadow assured, “If there’s one thing I’m sure of is that a vampire is no match for a sorceress, especially one skilled in camouflage”. “You speak so highly of this sorceress. I’m yet to meet her", Louis replied. “Oh, you have my dear. She is executing the first phase of our pla
Isabella helped wiped the plates, as Marie washed them. She concentrated on her task, deep in thought. “What’s wrong Isabella?”, Marie asked “Huh?”. Marie sighed, “I know I’m usually talkative, but you’re unusually quiet. Talk to me Bella, what’s the matter?”. Isabella contemplated sharing her problems with Marie, she was the closest to a friend she had here. She was more than a friend even, a mother to her... “You can think about it throughout the night and tomorrow and never get anything solved or you can actually talk to me about it and maybe I could give you a little motherly advice", Marie said. “It is about Alessandro...”. Marie laughed, “Oh it’s a boy issue. I know how to handle a few of those”. “No...no, Aunt Marie, it is not what you think...”. “Then what is it?”, Marie cut in, “I mean I know he is cute and all and anyone will be head over heels for him. If it isn't a boy issue then what’s happening?”. “It is not like that, a lot has happened in my life", Isabella st
