Cami's POV

"Sorry I am late. I had to wait for James to get done speaking with a client. He dropped me off and is now on his way to help Blake and Dad. I can't believe Uncle Charles would want to destroy Blake like this," Blaire said and sat beside me.

"Your uncle has always been something else. He was always sneaky and manipulative, but after Danielle's death, he got worse," Kathleen said

"I don't understand how he could blame Blake for her death. He was a child when she went to pick him up from school. It isn't like he planned it or anything," I said

"I agree with you, Cami, but you never know what is going through someone's head," Kathleen said

"You're right about that," I replied, and we ate our food. Then, one of Kathleen's friends came over, and Kathleen went with her to a store in the mall, telling Blaire and me that she would be back. We both told her we would still be in the food court, and she left.

"What did Uncle Charles say when he walked into the office?" Blaire asked
