Niko and Reyna drove in silence towards the house. Niko glanced at her at intervals as he noticed the lost look in her eyes.

“What’s wrong?” He asked after a while.

They were almost at home and he didn’t want her to enter the house with such a heavy feeling. Even if he hadn’t gotten the information to know who her real parents were and where she came from, he was sure the news was disturbing her greatly and was just doing her best to conceal it.

“I’m fine. I’m fine.” He heard her say as she moved in her seat.

She turned her head to the window, watching as all the cars and people moved outside, and for the first time in a long time, she felt sad, Worried, and lost. She thought she had figured out everything, living comfortably, not worrying about her brother again, and having enough money that could sustain her even after the deal, but yet, there was this void that she didn't know how to fill up.
