The next day, Ayla made sure Malia was sent to kindergarten before she made her way to Celine's place.
"Wait what!? Daniel called you? Why"? She asked so many questions at the same time. "I don't know what he wants, he said he only called to know how I was doing. I didn't give him the opportunity to say more before I ended the call". Ayla said and Celine tapped her on her back. "That's my girl, I'm proud of you". She then paused for a while before speaking again. "But... what are you going to do now? He might want to meet up very soon". Celine said but Ayla gave her a killer look. "You really think I'd agree to meet Daniel? He's engaged to Sasha. What will I be, their chief bridesmaid"? She said and Celine laughed a little because of how she put it. "Of course not, but don't you feel wronged? Not only did she drug you and ruin your life, they even turned your father's back against you". Celine said but Ayla simply smiled. "Don't blame my father's foolishness on them. He did all he did because he wanted to. And of course, I will get my revenge". Ayla said with determination. "Everything my father has today, belongs to my mother. I'll take back everything and send his cheating ass back where it belongs". If there was anyone Ayla hated more than her father, it would be Sasha and her mother. Those three made her life a living hell and it wasn't always like that. When Ayla was a child, she was loved and got everything she wanted. Her father spoilt her and treated her as nothing less than a princess. But all that came to an end when her mom found out that her father had been cheating and even had a daughter that is just a few months younger than Ayla. Gradually, Ayla's mother's health began to deteriorate and when Ayla was eleven, her mom passed away. That was when it all started. Two months after her mom's death, her father brought his mistress and daughter home. Ayla was always very nice to Sasha but she didn't know that Sasha was saying things to her father, making him hate her more and more. All that is what brought them to where they are now. But one thing was sure, Ayla was not the same as she was back then. Yes, she was currently broke and she didn't want to have anything to do with her family but, she was also a thousand times stronger. Taking Celine's motorbike, she drove off to her apartment. She needed to grab some things since she wouldn't be staying here much anymore. When she was done packing a little bag pack, she opened the door, only to see Sasha standing in front of her door. "Hello, sister". She said in the most evil and bitchy voice ever. "Going somewhere"? She asked but Ayla said nothing and just kept looking at her with her head held up. "Funny, you can now look me in the eye. I guess all those years away made you feel you are now something". While she was saying all this, Ayla just kept looking. "Unfortunately, I heard you can't even get a job. That... is to remind you who the real boss is". Sasha said but now, it seemed like Ayla had had enough. Pushing her to the side, she locked her door and began walking away. "I'm getting married to Daniel!!" Sasha yelled and Ayla paused. Sasha smiled, thinking it had gotten to her but then, Ayla turned and moved a bit closer to her. "Congratulations". Ayla said in a really cold but calm tone and walked away. Sasha tied her hands up in a fist, her knuckles were so tight it looked like blood would come out at any time. Never has she felt so angry to receive a congratulations before. Ayla rode back to Alexandra's place and on getting in, she still couldn't decipher how one person could be this wealthy. It looked like he was the god of wealth. "Hahaha, the god of wealth marries a fallen princess". She laughed at her own words as she made her way into the house. Sasha went back home, crying and throwing things around. She had gone through Daniel's recent calls and found out that he had called Ayla. That was the reason why she went to see her today. "What is wrong with you Sasha? Why are you acting like this"? Her mother asked as she walked into her room to see it in a mess. "She'll never be happy. I will take everything she has and forever leave her with nothing. She has no right to be happy unless I say so". She said and her mother didn't ask who as she already knew. "How do you plan to do that"? Her mother asked, making her look at her with an evil smile. "Oh come on Mom, she doesn't have father and she doesn't have Daniel. She's literally worthless. All I have to do is make sure it remains that way". Sasha said and her mother smiled. "That's my girl. But I don't understand, you have everything figured, so why are you so agitated"? Her mom asked and with a face that looked like it would explode at any time, she spoke. "I'll make her regret ever looking at me like that. She will never be able to congratulate me in that manner ever again". Ayla was asked to have lunch with Alexander so she took a quick shower and left for the restaurant. Celine already told her who Alexander is and she also did some findings of her own. She still couldn't understand why a man that perfect chose to marry her, when he could have easily gotten someone who could match his class. Alexander was labeled the number one most handsome and most successful man in the entire country. "Haa, I can imagine the shock on people's faces if they ever find out that I am his wife". She said to herself in the car. She had just entered the restaurant when she heard her name. "Ayla"? She turned, only to see Daniel. He rushed over and hugged her and just as she pushed him away, she heard her name again. "Ayla"?Alexander said, making his dad turn to look at him again. "What is wrong with you? What do you see in her"?He asked but Alexander seemed to have said all he wanted to say. "You..."He pointed at Alexander."You are blind".He said and angrily, he left. When he finally left, Alexander fixed himself up and picked up his phone, ready to go for another meeting. He had already gotten to the meeting when he saw Ayla's call so he decided he'd call her after the meeting. The meeting didn't take much time so immediately he was done, he returned to his office and called Ayla. It rang for a while before she picked up. "Hi".She said as soon as she picked up. "I missed your call".He said so coldly but calmly. "Uhh..."She didn't even know if she should say what it was she called for anymore. "Well, I just wanted to thank you for the flower and the food cart".She said and he raised a brow. "Flowers"?He asked which made Ayla tilt her head slightly. "Yeah, the flowers that came with
Fredrick was taken aback when he saw her throw it in the trash. "What's wrong? Do you know who sent it"?He asked but she said nothing. Her face had completely changed as she wasn't smiling anymore and she looked extremely cold. "Are you going to say something or not"?Fredrick asked again but soon enough, the makeup artist and dressing crew came in so he had to walk out. Ayla had completely lost the color on her face but luckily for her, the scene for today was supposed to depict her as a clod and angry lady so she was able to play the part pretty well. The scene she was playing today was a scene where she mysteriously woke up on the road where she was shot and began walking like a zombie with bullet holes all over her body. She was able to act her part perfectly and luckily, she finished on time and was able to leave. She didn't go home, instead she went to see Celine at her office. That's right, Celine was a boss at her father's company but of course, even as a boss, she cou
The first day went pretty well and it was finally time to go home. The crew members didn't give Ayla any special treatment, most of them even wished Sasha was the one on set but they didn't give her a hard time either. Everyone did their jobs to their best ability and Ayla could not have asked for anything more. After a long day, Fredrick insisted he took her home but Ayla could not have him knowing where she stayed so she left without him knowing. It was only after she had boarded a cap that she called and told him she had left. By the time Ayla got home, it was already pretty late at night. She was extremely tired so she decided to retire to bed. When she got to the room, it was dark but she didn't need the light to locate the bed. She immediately located the bed and fell asleep as quickly as her head touched the pillow. Acting was fun and all but it was also a lot of work. Some scenes had to be taken over and over again. And it doesn't necessarily have to be your fault, it
Ayla's eyes opened wide she realized the position she was in. Gently, she tried to free herself from his grip but he was just too strong. She tried hard not to wake him up unknown to her, her movements woke him up already. Alexander was so confused to see that she was lying right next to him. He was even more surprised that he slept soundly with someone on the same bed. He noticed she was trying to free herself and he knew things would get even more awkward if he was to wake up now so with his eyes closed, he rolled over to the other side of the bed, automatically freeing Ayla from his grip. Ayla realized she was free and dashed out of the room as quickly as she could. As soon as she was out of the room, Alex sat up, looking at absolutely nothing. "What was that"?He said to himself before looking at the door. He has never been able to sleep with anyone, let alone a woman. He didn't have any issues with women but he didn't want to get entangled in any controversies so he staye
Sasha was still fuming when he got a call from her dad."Hey Daddy".She said and her dad answered. "How is my princess doing"?He asked and she just answered with a "fine".Her dad didn't really have the time for much talk as he had a lot to do so he just went straight to the point. "Anyways, I called you for a reason".He said and Sasha said nothing, waiting for him to continue speaking."I think I got you a nice deal, I'd like for you to join me at a meeting tomorrow afternoon".Her dad said."What deal"?She asked. "I am about to sign a huge deal for the restaurant franchise I'm about to open. I'm meeting a huge investor and he wants to see the model who will be the face of the restaurant. I don't think anyone fits the position more than you do".Sasha didn't want to do it as she felt it was a waste of time and she already had so much on her plate but then, she decided to meet her dad since he hardly ever asks her to do anything for him."Alright Dad, I'll see you tomorrow. Jus
Ayla smiled at the coincidence. The script was well written but the writer was not well known in the industry. It felt like this would probably even be his debut. She looked at the script and knowing she didn't have much of a choice, she agreed to do the drama. "Really? You'll do it"?Fredrick asked and she nodded. "You can't take back your words".He said as he rushed out of the room. When he was gone, Ayla looked at Alex who just sat there quietly. "Why are you here"?She asked and he looked at her for a while before giving out a light sigh. "Are you feeling better"?He asked and she nodded. She was no longer having any funny thoughts towards him so she could speak to him easily. "I tried to get the CCTV camera but it was completely destroyed".He said, making Ayla look at him before she nodded."I should at least expect all this, she won't go down so easily".Ayla said, making Alex look at her. "Who"?He asked and she looked at him before shaking her head. "It's nothing.
