So unpredictable!

She whipped her head around and saw Julian staring down at her. He had removed his jacket and tossed it on the bench next to him. Catherine smiled sadly as he approached her.

"What happened?" he inquired softly as he sat down next to Catherine.

Catherine shrugged her shoulders. "Nothing," she mumbled.

"Nothing at all."

Julian frowned and moved closer to her until they were sitting shoulder to shoulder.

His arm wrapped itself around Catherine and pulled her into him slightly. Catherine leaned into his embrace and let out a sigh of relief.

"You sure?" he questioned.

"Because you seem a little down."

She sighed again. "It doesn't matter," she whispered.

"Of course it does matter. I care about you, Catherine. Why don't you tell me what happened?"

Catherine hesitated for a couple of seconds. Finally she answered truthfully.

"Yesterday I overheard my mother telling one of her lady in waiting that the king wants to have another son and I just felt...I just felt."

"Sick?" Julian finished f
