CHAPTER SIXTEEN: FOUND POPPY

I DIDN’T have difficulty requesting the security department for a temporary lockdown because they recognized me when I showed my ID. They found out I was the owner’s son, so they granted my request to review the CCTV footage to locate Poppy. I decided to lock down the mall first to ensure Poppy wouldn’t be able to leave. Since the security team didn’t know what Poppy looked like, I joined them in monitoring the screens to search for her.

While I kept my eyes glued to the screen, I also kept calling Poppy’s phone, as I already had her number saved. But even I couldn’t get through to her.
