I woke up with Emma crying loudly and checked that it was seven in the morning. I lifted the little baby girl in my arms and rocked her to silence her cries before placing her on the bed. I then grabbed a diaper and changed her diaper before picking up her again and making my way downstairs.
I searched for baby milk formula but couldn’t find it and grew worried. Emma needed milk first thing in the morning or else she would wail loudly in hunger till you give her milk. When I couldn’t find the milk formula after rounding the kitchen twice, I decided to ask Sam to get one from the nearby store which was half an hour drive from here.
“Sam, can you please come here?” I yelled for him to come into the kitchen.
“Why are you screaming? Her cries are enough to make my ears bleed, I don’t need you to add more to my misery.” He said in an irritated voice.
