He is the dream lover: rich, dominant, protective, loyal -- IF he loves you.He only loves his first love, Vivian, the girl who he is breaking up with Willa for. The girl who cheated on him three years ago and left him for another man. The girl who just got divorced and came back to look for him.Has been sleeping with Willa for three years, Damian doesn't even hesitate before he came to Willa, ending their "relationship"."Okay," Willa nods. Willa's family broke three years ago. She only started all these with Damian because she needed him to save her father. He did. She knew what between them was only a deal between adults, but still, when this moment came, it hurt so deep.She keeps her head high, not want to show any weakness.Seeing her mild, innocent face, Damian knows how much he owes her: "Here is a check for one million dollars. I hope this can make up for this."Willa is not after his money, Damian knows. But to his surprise, Willa takes over the check quietly, adding: "I left stuff at your place, can I get them back?"Damian curves his lips sarcastically. Willa had nothing when she met him. All the jewels and clothes, he bought them for her. His gifts are never cheap."You have a week," Damian put the key to his apartment on the table, standing up and sorting his suits, "give it to my secretary when you are done.""Goodbye, Damian." Willa nods mildly, giving him a smile. Damian left.Willa goes over the next day, selling every clothes and jewels he gave her before donated the money to charity; changing every bit of decoration she did for the apartment back to the way it was before she moved in; and throwing away any and every thing she ever touched there.The room turns back to the cold, minimalist place where he sleeps, in other words, no longer a "home".Damian freezes at the sight when he goes home after a week, shocked. A huge emptiness crushed his chest, as if there is a hole that he can never fill again.He runs around the place, trying to find even a single thing of her trace. He fails. He pulls out his phone and dials Willa's number, but the number is no longer in service.She left his world, completely.Damian never reaches out to her again, realizing what Willa means by her last "goodbye". She is not just leaving him out of her world, she is ripping herself from his world!"Is your heart made of stone, Willa?" He mumbles to himself, but Willa is no longer there to comfort him with her soft lips and watery eyes.He realizes what he has lost, but it's too late.-------XOXO
