CHAPTER 16

Agent Richard and Detective Kelvin continued the investigations with full force and determination. They became informed about a surprising twist that made the whole issue complicated and difficult to resolve.

They got to know that the anonymous men were people who had a high level of influence in the government agency, they were not just regular criminals. That means the person who orchestrated the murder of Mr Roland was probably someone in the courtroom, FBI or the public media who was trying to camouflage himself.

"This is more serious than I thought, how do we crack this case?" Detective Kelvin said, adjusting his chair.

"Well, I would support the police and we will all work together to get justice and the truth must prevail." Agent Richard said.

"But this is a high-profile case, it's not like the regular ones." Detective Kelvin said, with a tone of worry in his voice. "Detective Kelvin, you are a police officer. I'm an agent working for the Federal Bureau of Intelligence (FBI).
