Chapter 2b

As Bright disappeared, a young man appeared in the distant. 

The area distorted about and strangely seem apart of this world. 

Looking so highly, the wind blows away as if afraid to be breathen by this very man. He has expression in his face that akin to a ferocious being that this world fear about. His eyes especially glowing in red and there's a sinister smile in his lips as she watch the woman disappeared. With her, he can clearly saw the boy who was with her all along, looking so bother by something, as if can feel his gaze that rest on its unique nature.

“Neverseen...and a Priestess?” He has a strange expression in his face as he abandoned the idea of even able to cross the barrier. “How interesting. It is impossible for one to even communicate with them, but the two seems doing fine with it. What's the secret lies with them?”

His bizzare nature turn into a hopeful glow. It once for a thousand years that he ever find the scene as a hope to ever able to leave this place. 

“As long as I have a reason to never thorn away,” he whisper as he approach the lake that cover with a raging fire. “I can finally leave this place... Just like how a Priestess and Neverseen shouldn't have think of being in good terms with each other, I can tell to the world who really I am.”

He chuckled that never this world have ever heard. The insects, birds, and any creatures to its smallest form shuddered and stop the course that they busy about. Looking to the source of the strange noise, they scattered as if to run with their life. 

He blink to see the rampage, can only widened his eyes when almost the creatures he had for a thousand years cross the very lake that unable one to ever leave this place. And was, in fact, a sacrefice for the betterment of the Alphas world.

Even he sigh to the bizzarement of the lake, he can only put the expression of hopelessness. Those tiny creature just burn to death, to nothing more than dust!

His pair of eyes can see such a danger, aware how this lake found the purpose to exist. 

A particular creatures fall victim to its once, its wings spread beautifully as it scan the beauty that blind one to see the danger. How so unnatural, as it being told that this place will be its safest haven. But then in its way to flight above the lake, a raging inferno lifted up to the sky to envelop the creatures that can do nothing but felt dread.

This poor winged creatures can only shriek a second with misery and pain that this world have never once heard of. 

Only those who can understand is those who fighting the same struggle. The creature who have this pair of red eyes understand and well-aware of the misery those tiny being can felt the very last moment. He sigh and look away from the ash that blows to enter the barrier, and be part of the world he confine since the world ever know him. 

“What a heartless lake,” he said as if feeling guilty of what just happen. Yet, a smile broke out and he slowly nodded with excitement. “But then, one has to sacrifice their life force for the extent of saving the world. This misery is unavoidable, and thanks for the sacrifice, the origin must be protected once and for all.”

He can only sigh after saying such a words, so cruel but can be meant to put the vengeful creature to rest with purpose...

Not long after, Bright appeared near the hill. She looking vigilance at this moment, as if afraid to be discover. “I've heard that the Witches remain adamant by the fact that their powerful forces vanish without traces,” she said in a lowful tone. “Once they learn the reason behind it, something disastrous will to befall in this world.”

The wind rest at the top of the rock. Strangely, this rock so high and strange consist of the energy that this world have never guess of what. It still mystery, yet the wind seem notice, and gently approach it with strange expression. 

“So you grasp a wind of that rumor that's going on, huh?” The wind sounded as if to tease the woman, but its voice filled with dread for unknown reason. The moment it touch the stone, it become a part of it. It suddenly shiver to feel as if it suddenly paralyze by some sort of forcess. 

“No...” It groan when suddenly materialize, as if its invisibility vanish that will danger its nature in this world!

“What...” Bright's eyes widened, her hands cover her mouth.

“It can't be happening...”

“That's so cool,” Strangely, her expression akin to the woman who saw something so good in the eyes, it surprise surpass the discovery this world have ever known. “You can actually turn visible!”

Not to mention that expression of the wind, fright turn over as it shriek to no end. It appear to be a boy that lost its way and now lost in the wild. Its shriek encompasses the plea for answer to who knows whom.

“This is not so cool, Bright!” It turn around, eyes brimming to tears. “Who dare make fun of a great being like myself?” 

Bright blink as she teleported from her delussion. “Oh, right, you actually can't do that in your own,” she said, turn around searching for the culprit. But she shiver and a bizzare image of a stone give birth to an idea that so shocking.

“Relax,” she said, now with certainty. She notice how the stone vanish and the friend that once been invisible hovered in the air, so freak out by suddenly shown to the world. But she know better, the wind doesn't hover, the stone is still there!

“How can I relax?” It voice shaky as it stumble upon, tears stream down to the tremble lips. “I...I shouldn't have to be seen...”

She taken aback, realize she doesn't really know much about this special friend. “Why? Haven't you wish to be seen the first time in your life?”

“It's dangerous,” the wind shiver by the thought of something, deeply trembling. It look down at her with menacing eyes. “Bright, have you remember the thousand year ago bizzare crime?”

“The thousand years ago crime?” Bright's blue eyes shine bright in confussion. She look up to the figure that once a wind, looking so bother about something. “I don't understand... What's the connection of it to your sudden visibility?”

The boy sigh in dread. “The sudden change can lead this world into a far slumbering state,” its sounds so bothered. “Believe it or not, everyone is being watch. But with the help of order...this world able to remain in its safest zone, far from the march of the giant...”

Naturally, she find herself recalling some records in a thousand years book of history. She scan the once a boulder of a stone, it disappear as if no trace of it. Things that not been a reality of this world since a time memorial. 

“What is happening?” She try to sound suspicious but she feel her knees to tremble. Her heart heavy when something shocking cross her mind. “Thousand years ago... Isn't that the...”

“The start of a strange...and conspiracy,” the boy said, look up to meet the highest mountain, eyes bearing with strange light. “The beginning of their so-called banishment...is far beyond this world have ever known, Bright.”
