King Mateo’s face immediately turned red in anger, “This is what I was talking about.” I matched his gaze, “Let’s go.” He shook his head, “Not a chance, Princess. Aidinth, Rule, and I can handle it. I’m going to drop you and my queen off right here. I can’t have either of you getting hurt.” Alpha Arnou approaches us and says, “Ladies, we have lunch set up in the dining room for you. Queen Judia and I got off the boat as Alpha Arnou boarded it and they took off toward the gunfire. We both just stood on the dock, our warriors surrounding us, shaking our heads. The next three days went great. King Mateo’s castle was buzzing with excitement as we all pitched in to prepare for the event. King Mateo designed some flyers and sent some of the younger citizens of his kingdom to distribute them and tape them to storefront windows. By Saturday morning, I’m ready for this event to be done and go back to our little cabin on the mountain. I want my kitchen, and my comfy couch where I fall asleep on Aidinth’s lap every time. I’m not really upset with anyone; I just miss my little piece of heaven on Earth. I get out of bed, take my shower, get dressed in a pair of black jeans and a white button up shirt, with the sleeves rolled up to my elbows. What a ride we have had in these last ten years. Aidinth and I are still blissfully happy with each other, and our kids are amazing. We are still being called to areas around the world to host anti-poaching campaigns. My favorites have been to China, to protect the pandas, and to Africa to protect the wild cats. I fell in love with the wild versions of these animals. The werebears and werecats have been trying to protect themselves as well as the full blood version with a fierceness that I have not seen anywhere else. Mainly because they were getting desperate. Aidinth and I went there and ended up calling Luna Abby in for reinforcements. The poachers for these animals are willing to kill and die for the money they expect to receive for the parts they keep of these animals. It’s crazy and stupid. Six weeks later, we are at home, and I am downright miserable. I am waddling everywhere I go, and Aidinth, somehow, still thinks I'm cute. Today, we have company. Wow. The last three months have been a whirlwind. It has been three months since the event in Louisiana, and it was a major success. The local humans have joined the game wardens in keeping an eye out for poachers. Sergio has discovered that it’s mostly people who come in from out of state that are poaching.
