Our week at the house was a dream come true. I learned to fly and got very good at it. Rex and Kina got to play in the sky for a few days, before it was time to come home. We've been back at the castle for a week and now I am in full preparations mode for the crowning ceremony. I have two days until the ceremony, and I am so excited. The crowning ceremony is a lot like a wedding. It binds the prince and the princess together for life. The mate bond already does that, but the ceremony is to let the entire world know that we are bound together for life, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I have already started decorating the ballroom, and the crown was just delivered. It is exactly the way I wanted it. I think the only person more excited than me is Queen Chumani. She has been buzzing around this castle all week making sure that everything is perfect. My grandparents and my brother are coming up today. I hope my stepbrothers will be here too. I kinda miss them. My plan for

My eyes got wide as I said, "That's right! We haven't told them yet!" Everyone looked at us and I said, "We have something to tell you all. We are going to be parents!" Grandma said, "You're not telling us all of it. I can see that you're holding something back. What's wrong?" Aidinth and I laughed as I said, "Nothing is wrong, grandma. We're having triplets!" Grandma jumped up and clapped her hands. Grandpa sat in his chair, smiling with his mouth wide open in surprise. Zeb jumped up and hugged me as he yelled, "I'm gonna be an uncle times three!" I laughed at him as he hugged Aidinth. When he pulled back, I notice tears falling. I said, "Are those happy tears?" He nodded, "I'm happy for you, sis. You deserve all the happiness in the world after everything you've been through." By the time he was done, I looked around and my whole family was trying to choke back tears. I said, "Goodness, ya'll, you're going to make me start bawling!" Everyone started laughing and I said, "That's be
I actually got to sleep in this morning! I am so happy! It's seven am, and I'm just waking up. Before I do anything else, I eat a couple crackers to ease the morning sickness and then I start to get out of bed, but Aidinth stops me by grabbing my waist and pulling me back. I said, "Today is the day of my crowning ceremony! I have so much to do!" He said, "No, you don't. You got almost all of it done yesterday. Today, you focus on you and me. This afternoon, we will be bound together in front of the entire world. That means you will be mine, for good!" I leaned into him more and said, "I do love the sound of that." Just then someone knocked on the bedroom door. Aidinth yelled, "Yes?" Queen Chumani says, "Hate to break up your early morning party, but your mate is needed out here." I said, "Is it good or bad?" She laughed, "It's all good, honey. We just need you out here soon." I said, "I will take a shower and be out shortly." She said, "Thanks." I looked back at my mat
When I walked into our bedroom, I was met with the sight of a woman I know is dead. "Hello Princess Chloe," she smiled, "I know I look very familiar to you, and I'm very sorry she did all those awful things to you, but I promise, I'm not here to hurt you. Unfortunately, she ruined a lot for me and my future." I said, "I'm so sorry. You must be Kayda's twin sister, that the defense tried to blame her crimes on." She had a tear in her eye when she said, "Yes, unfortunately, that would be me. My name is Kai." I said, "Please forgive me for staring. It's almost like I saw a ghost." She said, "I've heard that a lot since her sentence was carried out. I don't blame you, by the way. She was a crazy person. She swore she was supposed to be princess. I really don't understand what caused it, to be honest." I said, 'Well, I know, for a fact, that it was not you that did it. I was awake for the entire thing, unfortunately, so I know it wasn't you. That's why I treated the defense attorney's qu
That night was awesome. Aidinth and I danced our legs off. At one point, he was dancing with Kimber, while I danced with Kai. I wanted to show everyone that if I'm not afraid of her, no one else should be either. I wanted everyone to see she is not the threat that her sister was. Aidinth and Queen Chumani even danced with her. I could feel all of the tension in the room leave with that first time I danced with her. After that, everyone treated her very well again. I was so happy to see that. She didn't deserve the way they treated her before. Aidinth and I were sitting at our table, when Drago walked up to us with a smile on his face and a fairy princess named Poppy on his arm! We were both so happy for him. Poppy was just what he needed. He accepted his kids with open arms and He accepted her just the way she is. Aidinth and I both wished them all the happiness in the world. He and his kids deserve it, after all they've been through. I told Aidinth, "We should stop in there
As we waved goodbye to King Uther and Queen Chumani, I could see Queen Chumani wipe a tear from her eyes. I'm going to miss that sweet woman. I have grown to love her like the mother I lost so many years ago. But we are not going too far away, and we will be back at least three days a week for work. We just really needed a space of our own. I did invite them up for dinner this weekend. Maybe that will take some of the sting away. I know they understand where we are coming from, I just want them to be as happy as we are about this move. We park in front of Drago's house, and as soon as we open the car doors, we can tell there is trouble in paradise. Kids screaming, "No!" and "You're not my mom!" I know that has to hurt Poppy and probably Drago too. Aidinth and I look at each other and run to the door. I ring the doorbell and Drago answers. He has such a sad look on his face, it scares me. I say, "I heard there is trouble in paradise. I thought maybe we could help." Drago sudd
All the way to the house, I was dreaming of what life will be like, and I was loving every minute of it. I do love the idea of being domesticated. It just feels right to me. In about six months, I won't have a choice. I will be up to my ears in babies, diapers, and formula. Breast-feeding three babies will be impossible. I simply do not have enough arms or nipples. That thought made me laugh. That's when I realized Aidinth was listening to me, because he laughed harder than I did. I said, "Caught you listening!" He said, "You didn't put a wall up, so all bets are off. Don't forget, you will have help. I will be there with you." I said, "True, I am happy that you want to be a part of it." He smiled, "I wouldn't have it any other way." As we got to the closest town from the house, he asked, "Have you decided what we're having for dinner tonight?" I said, "What do you think of chicken parmesan?" I could almost see him salivating as he said, "You can make that?" I laughed,
The next morning, I threw on a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt and walked downstairs. I poured a cup of coffee for myself, went outside, and sat on the deck to just ease into my day. I do love mornings. Especially mornings when I can just relax into my day. I was thinking of all the unpacking that needs to be done when a wolf family walked up to me. I said, "Look at you guys! Your cubs have grown so much since we've been gone!" I held my hand out to them, and the male nudged my hand to the top of his head. I petted his fur, and said, "You know I'm wolf too, don't you?" Then the female and cubs approached. I sat on the floor of the deck and the cubs walked up to me. They were climbing all over me and trying to lick my face when they heard a noise. Aidinth was at the door, laughing at me being mauled by a pack of wolf cubs. I said, "He's good, guys. It's okay." I motioned for Aidinth to come out and they all stopped for just a minute, until he sat in a chair with a cup
I really didn't want to get them in trouble this early. I wanted to give them a chance to show me who they really are; good or bad, it can deal with it. I also can't lie to these guys. I'm horrible at it. So, I replied, "They killed a deer on our land. I heard the gunshot, and we went to investigate. They said they were actually looking for a wolf that killed one of their cows. They said they didn't know this land was occupied now." The wolf said, "He knew. We told him a while back. He asked about it specifically. He also knows that this is not deer season. Can you show us the spot you found them?" Aidinth said, "Sure can." We led them to where we found them, and the Game Commissioners could see what had taken place. I said, "I'm not so sure that I believe the whole wolf story, but there is a family of wolves, that I have become quite close to, and I really don't want them hurt. One of their cubs is a white wolf. I talked the mates into rolling the pup around in dirt a few t
What a ride we have had in these last ten years. Aidinth and I are still blissfully happy with each other, and our kids are amazing. We are still being called to areas around the world to host anti-poaching campaigns. My favorites have been to China, to protect the pandas, and to Africa to protect the wild cats. I fell in love with the wild versions of these animals. The werebears and werecats have been trying to protect themselves as well as the full blood version with a fierceness that I have not seen anywhere else. Mainly because they were getting desperate. Aidinth and I went there and ended up calling Luna Abby in for reinforcements. The poachers for these animals are willing to kill and die for the money they expect to receive for the parts they keep of these animals. It’s crazy and stupid. Money should never be the driving force behind what we do. These poachers do not get it though. We had a lot of poachers locked up in those areas. They won’t be getting out any time soon ei
Six weeks later, we are at home, and I am downright miserable. I am waddling everywhere I go, and Aidinth, somehow, still thinks I'm cute. Today, we have company. Both of my brothers came up to visit and brought Sergio and his wife with them. We have been having a blast. Luna Abby came up yesterday with Alpha Damien and told us that the anti-poaching event in Alaska went great. So far, they have locked up one hundred eighty poachers. They think some may have chosen to get out of poaching altogether. We were all absolutely thrilled at that news. Today, Adrien and Julien came over to meet Sergio, Zaiden, and Allen. They all went on a walk around the woods, and we visited while Luna Abby and I cooked dinner. In the middle of cooking dinner, I felt a warm liquid rush down my legs. I whispered to Luna Abby, "I think my water just broke." She looked at my feet and said, I think so too. She smiled, "Let's get the doctor. Okay?" I nodded and she grabbed my phone. I logged in and she
Saturday morning, I woke up and jumped out of bed. I am so excited about this Pow Wow. I love them so much! Aidinth has never been to one, so he has no idea what to expect. I am super excited, so as soon as I’m done in the shower, I get dressed and walk downstairs. I decide that I want to make Indian frybread, after I finish making breakfast, to set the mood for the Pow Wow. As Aidinth and I are eating breakfast, Luna Abby calls to tell me they are in the building and there must be five thousand people there. I was floored. She said that King Uther made it, along with a few of his warriors, and Gryphon plans on showing up with a unicorn and Pegasus. I chuckled, “Be on the lookout for Sid. You know how he likes to make an entrance.” Luna Abby laughed, “Oh yes he does.” We finished talking about the arrangements, and the plan for the presentation, then we ended the call because she had people approaching her to introduce themselves. I smiled, knowing the event is in good hands
As we sat on the couch eating snacks and laughing at movies, I couldn’t help but wonder what is happening with Luna Abby. I’m sure she is still flying or driving, but it’s eating at me. Aidinth pauses the movie and smiles at me, “You can’t get out of Princess mode, can you?” I shrug my shoulders, “I’m just wondering where they are. That’s all. I know Luna Abby will keep me informed. She’s amazing at that. It just bugs me.” He pulled me close to him, “Do you need to go bake something?” I laughed, “You know me so well. I may need to do that. Let’s finish watching this movie, then I will think about it.” That is when my phone rang. I answered on the first ring without even looking to see who is calling, “Hello?” To my relief, it was Luna Abby, “Hey Princess Chloe, I have Alpha Damien, Gideon Begay, his mate Willow Begay, his brother and second in command, Denali Begay, and his mate, Isla Begay.” I put the phone on speaker and said, “Hello everyone, I am Princess Chloe Bergeron
Aidinth and I sat on the couch, napping, laughing, and watching TV for the rest of the day. Once in a while, I would step outside to check on the wolves. It is so good to see their pups thriving. It feels good to know that I had something to do with that. The white pup has learned to camouflage himself on his own now. The only time he doesn’t is when he is going in our garage for the night. He knows that he is safe in there. I woke up this morning seeing much more sunlight than I am used to seeing. I looked around and realized I’m still on the couch! Did Aidinth leave me down here? I started to get up and found that an arm had a vice-like grip on me. I’m sure it’s just to keep me from falling off, but I really need to pee. I tapped his arm, and he instinctively loosened his hold, without waking up. I walked upstairs to our room, and did my business, then took my shower. I dried myself off and walked to the closet. I put on a pair of maternity leggings and a huge t shirt, bec
Wow. The last three months have been a whirlwind. It has been three months since the event in Louisiana, and it was a major success. The local humans have joined the game wardens in keeping an eye out for poachers. Sergio has discovered that it’s mostly people who come in from out of state that are poaching. The locals who were poaching got caught very quickly after the event. Their own family or friends turned them in. It was nuts for them for a little while, but things have settled down a lot for them. Right now, I’m sitting with Aidinth at the doctor’s office, waiting for my doctor to come in the room. As she enters, she smiles, “So, would you like to find out what you’re having today?” I smiled, “I would love to know, so we can prepare.” She brought the ultrasound machine in, but it didn’t look like the same one she usually uses. I asked, “What is different about that machine?” She explained, “This is a high-definition ultrasound. If we can get them in the right position
When we got to the airport, Aidinth watched the guys unload the car with wide eyes, “Was there anything left in the store?” I laughed, “I couldn’t help it! They had all my favorite clothes in every size that I’m going to need.” He laughed as he wrapped his arms around me, “It’s fine, my love. I know you need them.” Then he put his hands on my belly, “They did seem to triple in size overnight.” I nodded, “I know.” We got on the plane, and I sat down. I took a deep breath and suddenly felt a little flutter in my stomach. I put my hand on it, and it happened again. This time, I could feel it from the outside too. I must have had a weird look on my face, because Aidinth asked, “Are you okay?” I smiled, “More than okay.” I motioned for him to sit down, and he did. I took his hand and put it over the spot where the baby was moving. His eyes glistened with unshed tears, “That is the coolest thing ever. That’s my child in there.” I nodded and he kissed me tenderly, then he said, “Things are
As we made it to town, I started noticing kids just walking around town. I asked Queen Judia, "What's going on with the kids? Why are they just walking around?" She shrugged her shoulders, "I really don't think they have much to do. They are in town, because it's more boring at home, and there is no school today." I asked, "Do you have a fairly large area that I can use to give them something to do?" She said, "We have a park, but it's not that big. It's mainly for the little ones. But it is big enough to add on to it." I smiled, "Why don't we go over there first. Seeing these kids like this is really bugging me." Queen Judia laughed, "Let's go." When we got to the park, I agreed that this was mainly for little kids. I smiled, "Let's give the bigger kids something to do." I suggested, "First, how about an obstacle course?" The kids gathered around us, and I greeted them all, "Hey guys! I'm about to improve your park, so there is something for you all to do. First, how
When we got back to King Mateo’s castle, we ate a late dinner, and sat outside in lounge chairs by the water and just enjoyed each other’s company. We had been talking and laughing until I heard a hiss, and a ball was thrown into my lap. I laughed as King Mateo shook his head, “Chloe, you have spoiled him beyond belief.” I laughed at Hugo, “Youaren’tspoiled, are you, Hugo? You just love me.” Hugo nodded his head and made a hissing sound that sounded like a laugh. Everyone laughed at what he did. Queen Judia laughed, “Chloe, you make him do things that I have never seen him do.” I laughed, “That’snothing. Watch this.” Then I looked at Hugo, “Can I hug you, Hugo?” He nodded his head and I levitated him to my eye level. I was petting his face, and said, “I need a hug. Is that okay?” He nodded and I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him. Aidinth chuckled, “I never thought I would be jealous of an alligator.” I put Hugo down and tossed the ball f
