It's been two months since Matteo dumped me. It's been two months since my life changed completely. "Are you ready?" Eliana says as she walks back into my room. I nod my head looking at myself in the mirror, and I am wearing a long red dress that hugs my curves and exposes my back. I don't know how I will manage to wear this dress all night. Tonight is a charity ball that my parents got me tickets to. I am taking Eliana as my date because I can't even begin to think about dating again.
Eliana whistles as she sees me in front of the mirror. "You just need red lipstick, and you will be done", she says, and I look at her shaking my head.
"Isn't that a bit too much?" I ask, and she shakes her head as she passes me the red lipstick. I pat the lipstick on my lips as Eliana pulls her hair up into a sleek ponytail. "Shall we?" she asks as she looks at herself in the mirror while I place my phone inside my clutch and close it. I nod my head, and we walk out
