Davina’s POV

Marked by Scars

I started hearing footsteps. At first, it sounded distant but as I kept hearing it, it was getting closer and closer.

I was scared. What should I do? Are they coming? Or was it something else?

While I was contemplating on what to do, the footsteps got very close and stopped. I turned my head slowly, my pulse was hammering in my heart.

“Please, please, don't hurt me.” I prayed to myself rather than to him. And then, from the back of the trees, there he was, talking tall and strong. His piercing gaze was locked onto me with quiet intensity.

I didn't know what to do. I couldn't run and even if I did, there was no way I was going to run faster than this demigod I was seeing.

I swallowed hard, trying to catch my breath as I took a small step back.

“Who are you?” His voice was deep, strong, but not unkind. I opened my mouth, but the words wouldn’t come.

He tilted his head, studying me, and then his expression changed a bit as curiosity flickered across his fa

Seeds Beneath the Ashes Eris’s POV I started by watching.I needed to understand what I'm fighting and who I am about to fight. Power is never rebuilt by rushing. It grows quietly, like roots beneath burnt land. From Rose’s small window, from hidden corners of Silverblood. I watched what Malcolm had done to my pack after my “death.” watching how the pack that once bowed to me respected and honoured him. He held my chest. It hurts so bad to see everything you’ve ever worked for, enjoyed by someone who didn't even know how it started. “Malcolm! I am coming for you. And you’ll watch how I rip everything you love from you before killing you.” The rules I ruled by discipline, hierarchy, and fear balanced with honor were diluted into softness. Children now play in front of Alpha’s house like it were a playground. Punishments were reduced. Warriors were no longer tested to the point of breaking. Titles were handed out like favors instead of earned through blood and loyalty. “He wanted

The Woman Who Never Spoke Eris’s POV It was late at night, the perfect opportunity to enter into my pack without being noticed. I came out of my hiding place, looked around, and took a deep breath. “It's time,” I murmured. I began to walk through carefully avoiding lights and parole guards. This is my pack and I know everywhere. As I walked towards Rose’s house, she was the only person who could surely accommodate me. She had a crush on me for the longest but I didn't acknowledge her because she wasn't my type. But one thing I admired about her was that she wasn't as obsessed as Eleanor. I intend to use her weakness against her. Nothing has changed at all. Everything in this pack still screams my name. This was my pack and my land. And yet, I walked it like a criminal, hood pulled low, and my aura locked so deep inside my chest it felt like suffocation. I stayed far from the center. It would be dangerous and careless of me to get noticed. As I continued to walk, it felt endles

The Man Who Should Be Dead Eris’s POV I woke before dawn, and the ache in my bones was sharper than the cold biting through the hut. I lay still, thinking about how I was almost gone, how the great Alpha Eris would’ve been a history. Damn you! Elenore. I cursed. I shut my eyes in hurt, listening to the quiet breathing beside the hearth, reminding myself that this…this fragile, borrowed life was real. Maera stirred as I sat up. “You shouldn’t be moving yet,” she said, her voice sounding rough with sleep but calm. “Your wounds…” “Have already taken more from you than I deserve,” I interrupted softly. She turned fully toward me, narrowing her eyes as she studied my face, as if afraid I might disappear again. “You’re determined.” “I don’t have the luxury of rest.” I swung my legs over the edge of the bed, wincing as pain shot through my head. “If I stay, I endanger you. You don't deserve it.” Maera snorted. “You were half-dead when I dragged you in. Danger already came and went.”

Alpha Eris POV The sound of my heart thrummed in my ears before I was even aware I had a heartbeat again. My eyes flew open. The ceiling above me was made of wooden panels, the flash of sunlight by the morning sun screened through a dusty window. “What is this place? where am I?” I didn't know here nor have I ever visited a place like this or am I dead? No, no… I can't be dead.” I jolted upright, gasping for air, and then I hissed as sharp, as blinding pain exploded in my skull. I clutched my head, squeezing my eyes shut. And then… I remembered. Eleanor had stabbed me that every day. “That bitch,” I cursed. I was glad that she died with me. But am I dead too? I thought, still looking around. If she had stabbed me back, what am I still doing? My mind was in a serious whirlwind of thought. Nothing was making sense. I was alone in this tattered house. While I was trying to make sense of everything, my thoughts drifted back to Davina. That ungrateful girl. After helping her out when

Crown of Thorns and Silver (Davina’s POV) The great hall smelled of melted wax and crushed rosemary, the scent so thick it coated my tongue. Hundreds of candles lined the stone walls, their flickering light catching on the silver threads woven through my gown, a Lumen tradition. The clawshaped pauldrons strapped to my shoulders were pure Silverblood steel. I stood barefoot on the sacred furs, the coarse pelts tickling my toes. The last time I’d been in this hall, I was twelve years old, hiding under a banquet table while Genevieve told the court how my wolfless blood would ruin their precious Alpha’s line. Now Malcolm knelt before me, his golden head bowed, the ceremonial dagger trembling in his outstretched hands. "Speak the vow," Elder Kael intoned from the shadows. Malcolm’s voice was raw. "My life for yours. My pack for yours. My breath for yours." His blue eyes lifted, bright with unshed tears. "Until the moon swallows the sun." The words echoed through the silent h

The Moon’s Trial (Davina’s POV) The dream began with silver. Not the pale glint of moonlight through trees, nor the soft shimmer of river stones. This was liquid silver, thick as blood, humming with power, pooling in my palms before rising like smoke to form the shape of a woman. The scent of crushed juniper and frost filled my nose, so sharp it made my eyes water. The moon goddess’s eyes burned into mine, twin pools of molten mercury. "You hesitate." Her voice wasn’t sound, it was the crack of ice on a frozen lake, the whisper of wind through dead grass, the last gasp of a dying wolf. It vibrated in my teeth, in my bones. "A true AlphaOmega does not falter at the fork in the path." I clenched my fists, my claws biting into my skin. The sting grounded me. "I’m not hesitating. I just, " "You fear choosing wrong again." Her starlit fingers tipped my chin up. Cold seeped into my jaw where she touched me. "So I will show you truth. One night in each man’s mind. See what they
