The first group of new alliance members is scheduled to come to my office and sign the alliance contracts today. This is just the beginning, but it won’t be long before I finally have what I’ve been wanting.

With a smile on my face and the first contract to be signed today in my hand, I walk around my desk and head to the small table surrounded by couches on either side and a chair at the end. I happily set two copies of the contract on the table next to the pens, already on the table.
I’m so close. I can almost taste victory already.
Knock. Knock.
I quickly hide my smile and turn my attention to the door, as I chime, “Come in.”
My secretary walks in. “Sir, your first appointment is here.”
