Chapter 4

Shin Alexandra Ferrell, just as what has been previously revealed, is a billionaire and a woman that everyone dreams to become because of her success in the business world. She is considered to be the one who was able to break all the stereotypes against women that cannot handle a business on their own or that they should just stay at home and do household chores or just simply take care of the family.

She was able to achieve great feats in her field – things that only a few men can achieve and some can still find quite hard to achieve. Well, if someone is to went through her background, Shin Alexandra is a woman who was born with a silver spoon in her mouth however, the thing is that even if that is the case she didn’t rely on power, money, and fame that her family name already has, she started from scratch and went through a lot before she could reach where she is right now.

Some would deem her to be a hypocrite in starting from scratch and didn’t just take the chance to make use of the resources that she already has well, she would if she honestly could. Well, she had gone through a lot to be exact, she thinks that she already experienced hell and that she is just lucky enough to still be alive and kicking – continuing in struggling with the hellish life that she is destined to have. Well, after all that she has been through she already comes to terms with the fact that she is destined to have such a hellish life and that there is nothing that she could do about it anymore. She really cannot complain anyways and also, there is no point in complaining anyways because soon it will end.

Other than the fact that she started from scratch in building her name in the business industry there is also another thing that she started when she was still in high school – well, in fact, she already started doing things related to that ever since she was still a child but those are memories that she no longer wants to remember because she is already in the process of moving on, or rather she had already moved on to be exact

Then again, there is more to Shin Alexandra than just being a billionaire that everyone looks up to because behind that billionaire mask, she is someone that is feared by a lot of people, not because of her wealth but because of the position that she holds in the underground world, a world that is filled with gangsters, mafia members, yakuza clan, assassins – name any job that consists of doing evil deeds and involves killing then you can find it in the underground world.

Each country, they have its underground world, and each underground world across the globe has its monarch – the one who rules over what is going on around the place and also makes sure that peace and order are still maintained. Well, even if it is a world filled with people who are used to doing evil deeds it is still a world that is governed by its own rule of law – it has its own set of rules that everyone needs to follow and of course, if one violates a rule then the monarch will instill the necessary consequence to the individual or even to the whole group.

Well, it depends on the monarch on how they will instill the consequence. And Shin Alexandra Ferrell has her way of how would she handle things that pisses her off or that violate the rule that she implements in the underground world and yes, she is the monarch of the underground world of the X country and she has been the monarch for about more than a decade now because aside from his wealth, fame and business that she started from scratch being a monarch of the underground world is also another thing that she started from scratch and who knows what the things she did to be in such a position – things that if someone finds out they will surely immediately think that someone like her can’t achieve or rather a woman can’t do.

“So, what are we going to do with these corpses now? Are we going to do the usual, or are we going to bury them or are we going to make this place go bye-bye?” that is what Kristian asked Shin who is now sitting on a chair resting her body because she just got home from thirteen-hour travel yet here she is doing extra-curricular activities already because she found out that there are bastards that have run loose when she is not around the country. Well, on a side note, she also thinks that it is a good thing that she is already engaged in doing her extra-curricular activity. In that case, the bastards who have been too complacent about her disappearance would already be alerted that their happiness wouldn’t last that long anymore because she is back to make them experience the hell that they never experienced before.

“You can divide it – you can do the usual with a few of those bodies and just burn this place down afterward” that is what Shin ordered and her friends nod their heads synchronously. Well, they are going to lie if they said that they didn’t miss doing kinds of stuff like what they are doing right now. They missed it because in that one year that Shin, their monarch is not around they technically didn’t do anything.

Well, they can if they want to – they can be the one to keep in check the underground world and to prevent some shitty things from happening – well, they did do that, however, the thing is everything went out of hand due to that person. And although they want to already take that person down, they have no orders coming from the monarch that they should do so, they do not want to cause trouble, or they feel like Shin will scold them for actually doing something that they are not told to do.

And so, they are not going to lie with the fact that they weren’t able to do anything substantial in that one year that Shin was away.

The four of them cannot help but take a glimpse of Shin who is resting while sitting on a monobloc chair that they were able to find a while ago and they cannot help but notice that something has indeed changed about her. They have known Shin for about more than a decade and so they are used to her actions, mannerisms, her style, her way of governing in the underground world, her way of thinking – literally everything because they have always been together.

And right now, they cannot help but notice how different Shin Alexandra now from the past. Shin Alexandra a year ago would smoke a cigarette or two after she does her job of punishing a rule breaker or simply killing someone because she is annoyed or because she is being targeted since she has a lot of enemies in the field. Another thing is the fact that she had never let go of someone that easy in the past – she would ensure that there will be no one that would escape her wrath.

But the Shin Alexandra now is someone different – she no longer smokes a cigarette or two and not to mention she let that man get away. They are curious and they want to ask her for further details about it but the thing is they feel like they are not even going to get the answer that they need. Another thing that they have noticed is the fact that Shin seems to be in deep thought which is something that they rarely witness – she is not the type of person that would be engrossed in her thoughts but rather she is a person that could instantly figure out things, especially what she is going to do next.

And right now, they really cannot help but ask themselves because they do not know if they are going to be answered by Shin Alexandra.

“What happened to Shin in that one year that she has been away?”

Well, to be exact it is not that they are worried that they are not going to get the answer that they want from Shin but more of they feel like they are going to ask something offensive which is why they rather just stay quiet and let her share what happened to her in that one year that she has been away.

“Are you already done?” that is what Shin asked her four friends who are now wiping the sweat on their foreheads

It’s been about more or less twenty minutes since they started to clean the mess that Shin caused because she eliminated the people who belong to the clan of Black Scorpio because of the reason that they have caused quite a ruckus in the underground world that they have even involved innocent people and literally they have violated a lot of things while she was away.

“Yes, Shin, the only thing that we need to do is to deliver those bodies to the place where their leader is staying to give him a warning, like what we always do” that is what Jake said and Shin immediately nod her head in response to the answer that she got. Well, now that they are done in the area and that they already have a present to the leader of the Black Scorpio clan then there is nothing more than they could do in the place that they are in right now, the only thing that they need to do is to vacate the vicinity and go home to finally call it a day because even though she does not look like it, she also badly needs rest.

Shin then is about say that they should already go home when she noticed that Travis is frowning while looking at the screen of his phone and because of her curiosity, she asked him what exactly it is that he is looking at and making him frown.

“What is that, Travis?” that is what she asked and then Travis lift up his head and at that moment, Shin noticed that he has this expression on his face that actually gives her a feeling that she shouldn’t have asked in the first place because it is something that she shouldn’t really know.
