Blue's pov
I stood before my manager in the dimly lit office, my hands trembling. "Please, Mr. Jerkins, I need this job. I can work extra hours and take on more responsibilities... Just don't fire me," I pleaded, my voice breaking.
He just leaned back in his chair, a scowl etched across his face. "You think this is a charity, hmm, Blue?" "You're always just apologizing, always acting pathetic. Maybe if you're in such desperate need of money, you should consider other options. You have a great body; go sell it or something and stop messing up my office floor with your filthy hands." He waved me dismissively, his tone dripping with annoyance.
My heart sank. I had just been fired from my part-time jobs at the supermarket and cafe this morning, leaving me with only my dwindling delivery tip, which I had until next week to leave.
Why is this happening to me all at once? It seems like someone deliberately wants me to just suffer for walking on the face of the earth.
My mind couldn't help but drift to the happenings of last night. Could he somehow be connected to this? Maybe he was the cause... Or maybe I was just overthinking the whole situation and I just wasn't worth the hire.
I walked round the busy streets seeing posters and billboards of Damian Gates, the man I had met yesterday. I never knew he was this known till today.
God! I didn't even have the luxury to stare at posters and billboards till today. He looked so perfect, having a pretty perfect life while people like me struggled for the scraps and leftovers of people like him.
I held back the tears stinging to fall off; my life had always been a mess, and things didn't seem to be getting better.
I tried calling Tom a few times, but there wasn't a response at the other end. I wished he would call me back soon because I needed someone to lean on at these desperate times, and he was the only one I could think of.
I was currently unemployed, with countless loan sharks at my back, unending bills to pay, and a new apartment to get. I felt the weight of pressure crushing me down. I walked around a little more, trying to stall time to avoid the loan sharks that would be waiting at my front door.
I wanted to hear Coco's voice, but I didn't want to cause her worry. She has her own problems to deal with. As I walked down the dimly lit street, the shadow loomed longer than my sad life.
"Look who we have here." I was cornered by three hefty-looking men, their faces awfully familiar. "You think you could run away from your debts, huh?" One sneered, stepping closer.
My heart raced, and I took a step back, my instincts screaming at me to escape."I don't have any money right now; please give me some time; I'll get the monthly payment ready before the end of this week," I pleaded... shit! That seemed to be the only thing I could do, plead and beg like a little mouse.
"Time's sweetheart, we can't just let you go like that after all our efforts to find you." they inched closer.
"How can we be sure you'll pay us when you have been avoiding the shit out of us lately, hmm? Plus, this is just the interest rate. We haven't even started the main money we lent, yet you're acting so haughty already."
The other hissed, grabbing my chin aggressively, "Are you playing with us, hmm, pretty?"
I felt trapped; panic surged through my veins, and it seemed as though the walls were closing in. "I promise I'll wire you the payment, I barely managed to whisper, and they laughed drily.
"Oh, you better," the leader spat, "but don't you think you should at least appease our anger a little before then?" He drawled close to my ears, and the sound of him licking his lips sounded so vivid, that I could feel the heat rising in my cheeks, the mix of anger and fear.
You wanted to scream, to cry; instead, you just tried to get out of their hold. But one dragged me back, ripping my shirt. Their hungry stares gazed at my body as they laughed in glee.
I tried to push through, but one grabbed me, ripping the remaining fabric into pieces. Leaving my chest bare but my bra As soon as they wanted to pounce on me like a pack of hungry lions, I felt a presence.
"You do seem like uncivilized idiots," a deep voice saved me from impending danger. "What do they call scenes like this?" Yeah, rape, first time witnessing one."
The figure leaned on the wall, his demeanor spoke of strength and confidence with mischievous intent.
The men laughed at first, but there was a certain authority in his tone that made them hesitate.
"Who the fuck do you think you are?" One of them sneered, stepping forward. "Someone who doesn't take kindly to bullies, especially rapists," he replied, blowing off dirt from his fingernails nonchalantly.
"Fucker!" They launched a punch at him, but fortunately, it didn't reach him as people who seemed like his bodyguards appeared, busting into the alley with calculated intensity.
"BACK OFF!" The warning was clear. The loan sharks hesitated, glancing at each other, then at the bodyguards, before recklessly charging forward.
A surge of aggression propelled the leader's fist swinging, but the bodyguard was faster, sidestepped, and delivered a sharp kick to his knees, sending him sprawling to the ground.
"Did you really think you could take him on?" the stranger, who seemed like the boss, asked with a perplexed look on his face, the second bodyguard standing in front of him in a protective stance.
I shut my eyes, unable to withstand the violence being displayed. Hugging my knees tightly, "You can open your eyes now," a gentle voice coaxed me, and I reluctantly opened them. His face was just one word; beautiful.
His gaze scanned through me, reminding me I didn't have a shirt on. He removed his suit jacket and covered me, and for the first time in a long time, I felt a sense of safety.
"Do you live around here?" he asked, adjusting his tailored suit, and I just nodded. "My bodyguard will drop you off at your place," he notified me before leaving me.
The alley was left silent, the loan sharks were long gone, but tension still hung in the air... An unspoken danger could lurk in any corner. If he hadn't saved me, the unthinkable would have happened.
"Thanks." I was grateful to the bodyguard who had escorted me back. "Please tell your boss I'm deeply grateful." I entered home; my mom and sister were already fast asleep.
I snuggled in between, to get a good rest, but I couldn't; nightmares of what-ifs and the trauma stung me hard, waking me up, so I decided to surf online, applying for any job I could find.
My phone chimed; a new message came in. To my disappointment, it wasn't Tom checking up on me but a message from the interview.
You have passed the interview for the nanny hiring. You are expected to be present at 9:00 am tomorrow morning at the designated location for terms and conditions to be discussed.
My heart skipped a beat, not sure if it was out of relief or fear of the known.
3rd point of viewBlue stood silently in the corner of the dimly lit room, the weight of her family's decision pressing heavily on her chest. The air was thick with unspoken words and the scent of impending change. Her mother and sister hastily packed their belongings, abandoning her as soon as things went wrong. Their faces were etched with a mixture of determination and a pretense of despair. After they had received the notice just days ago. This a stark reminder that their time in this small, cramped apartment was coming to an end the rent rising and the landlord's ultimatum echoing in their minds, the family faced a serious choice. They had no money or savings to secure another place, and the thought of living on the streets was a terror they couldn't bear, so when the invitation from their Aunt Sarah came in, they jumped at the chance. They decided to go live at their aunt's house, a sanctuary for some but a place of discomfort for Blue; her aunt had only enough room for two, a
3rd point of view This chapter contains sensitive content that may be upsetting to some readers. In a softly lit room, the atmosphere was thick with anticipation. Damian moved with an effortless confidence; he approached her, the corners of his mouth curving into a playful smirk as he took Blue's, pulling her closer. His eyes dark and smoldering locked on her, he leaned in, his breath warm against her ear. "What are you going to do if I say I want you now?" he whispered. "I want to feel you; how else will I know if you're worth the pay?" The words hung in the air, charged with an electric intimacy that made her heart race. What exactly have you gotten yourself into? She couldn't help but wonder as he pulled back slightly, his gaze never flattered, searching for a spark of fear and determination. With a swift, fluid motion, he pushed her down on the bed, the soft sheets cradling her, The surprise in her quickly transformed to fear as she locked his gaze and hesitated; he hovered ov
Blue's POV My eyes fluttered open to the stark reality of my surroundings, the leaking roof, and the cold, hard floor pressed against my sides. A reminder of the events of the last two days came rushing in a haze of worry and regret. I shifted slightly, wincing at the sharp pain that shot through my spine. It felt as if that decision I had made recently was being etched into my body one throb at a time. Since that night I had spent with him, my back ached from the activities we had practiced, and I had spent the last two days in solitude... I didn't want to see him again, but I didn't have the choice, nor the money or time. Even if the nightmares get worse, I'm already at rock bottom. With a heavy sigh, I rolled over and reached for my phone. The familiar weight of it is both comforting and unsettling. The screen lit up, revealing a view of missed calls. Damian's name caught my attention above all others He would be furious; I had left as soon as I woke up and didn't bother to sh
Chapter 8: Damian's POV I felt the golden hue that danced across the glass walls painted on my face stirring me awake, the faint. I opened my eyes instinctively, turning right only to find the sheets rumpled and empty. A fleeting sense of disbelief washed over me before it was simply replaced by amusement; I couldn't help but smile. "Yeah, it's much more fun this way," I mumbled to myself, running my hands through my tousled hair. Last night was amazing, better than I had expected. Sitting up slowly, I observed the remnants of our escapades scattered across the floor; my shirt lay crumpled near the bed, but her clothes were gone, with only the condom packets on the floor. I stretched, feeling the pleasant ache of muscles that had been put to good use and couldn't help but wonder where she got the strength to slip off so early in the morning. I thought she would be fucking sore after last night's event, but that didn't seem to be the case. She had probably slept with a lot of men
3rd point of view Blue stood in the center of her new room. The lavish villa sprawled around her like a dream she never imagined would come true. The walls gleamed with a fresh coat of paint, and the air was thick with the scent of new beginnings. She had spent the day packing her belongings, but in her haste, she had left behind a few cherished items in her old apartment. The thought nagged at her, yet she pushed it aside. There would be time to return for them later. Right now, she needed to focus on her upcoming trip to Nora's new island. The villa was stunning, a stark contrast to her previous home. The chandeliers sparkled, and the expensive windows offered a breathtaking view of the night sky. After what felt like hours of futile attempts to fall asleep. She finally surrendered to her restlessness; slipping out of bed, she decided a walk through the villa might clear her mind. The moonlight spilled across the polished marble floors as she wandered through the corridors. The
Blue's POV:As I entered the cafe, my eyes scanned the outdoor seating area. There he was, Tom, seated at the table near the entrance. I watched his face light up as he spotted me, though a flicker of surprise crossed his features. "Wow! Blue, you look different," he said, his gaze lingering on my attire."It's nice to see you too," I replied, seating myself in the chair across from him. I could feel his gaze, but there was an edge to it. My stomach twisted slightly in confusion. "I'm sorry I couldn't contact you all this while; I just had a lot on my plate." "I don't mind really; I've gotten used to it already. "I shrugged, the words pulling from my lips more bitterly than I intended."Thanks, it's so nice to have an understanding girlfriend," he said, clasping my hand with earnestness, and I couldn't help but smile wearily but felt a pang of frustration deep within. "More like someone you can take advantage of." I thought bitterly, the realization of my situation weighing heavily
With a tentative knock, Blue waited, her heart racing. The door opened slowly, revealing Damian; water dripped from his toned torso, glistening in the soft light of the room, accentuating every muscle and curve. The towel hung loosely around his waist, giving just enough of a glimpse to tease the imagination. Without a word, he stepped forward, his intentions clear. In one swift motion, he grabbed her by the waist, pulling her closer into the room. The door clicked shut. Blue gasped. Instinctively trying to push him away, but Damian was relentless. He flung her onto the bed, the sheets cool against her skin but the heat radiating from him so overpowering. "Damian, wait!" she protested as he began removing her shirt, his fingers brushing against her skin. She struggled, trying to find her footing, but it was futile against him overpowering her strength. "Seems like you've forgotten the details of the contract." His voice was low and smooth. A warning. Blue's heart raced as he captu

Blue's POV:I thought I was getting better. I really did. I lay in bed replaying everything, trying to see what happened. I looked to see where everything went wrong. Why my life had to be soo miserable. All these years, Tom stripped away myself layer by layer until even my bones had no trace of my personality. I lost sight of the girl I used to be.The problem was that I wanted to be Loved so badly. I couldn't tell it wasn't love. "You're so much better than that" Damian's words clinged to my heart.I tossed and turned my mind refusing to settle. Every time I closed my eye all I could see was Damian. The way his lips had felt on mine, soft yet insistent, sent shivers down my spine. My body had responded in ways I hadn't expected igniting a warmth that lingered long after the kiss ended. It was just too much to handle. With a frustrated sigh. I swung my legs over the side of the bed. My heart racing as I made my way to the kitchen. Water. That's what I needed, I picked a bottle the co
Blue's POV"Do you have sex with my dad?" Nora asked her voice cutting through the cheerful ambiance like a knife. I nearly chocked on my drink, wide eyed, taken aback "what?" The question hung in the air surreal and heavy. This was not a conversation I expected to have over boba with an eight year old."Sexual intercourse" she elaborated her tone causally that I felt a mix of disbelief and shock. How did this little girl know about such things?Nora noticed the worried look on my face "Everyone in this generation knows a thing or two about sex Blue, no need to overthink this" she said standing up from her seat. "Besides you don't have to answer if you're uncomfortable".I opened my mouth to respond but no words came. I didn't want to lie, but the truth felt to complicated to explain to a child. After our outing, my mind raced with thoughts of how to bring this up to Damian. How do you tell a father that his daughter is curious whether her nanny is sleeping with him?. How did she eve
Nora POV:As I stared out the car window, the California sun cast a golden glow over everything making tye streets shimmer like magic. Mr Thompson, my chauffeur kept his eyes glued to the road but my mind was racing with thoughts of what had happened to Blue. And then I saw a flash of her dark brown hair swaying as she was walking down the side walk."Stop!" I shouted, the excitement bubbling up inside me. Mr Thompson hit the brakes asn I jumped out before he could even say a word.I hurried towards Blue my hands on my hips trying to look serious. Though couldn't help the smile tugging at the corner of my mouth."Aren't you meant to be in bed, resting?" I said my voice dripping with playful authority. Blue turned around. Her surprise melting into a grin."Aren't you meant to be on your way to school?"She shot back and we both laughed the sound brightening the quiet morning."I just wanted to get a gift for someone special" she said her cheeks tinged with a hint of bashfulness."Me?" I
Damian's povThe room was cloaked in darkness, the kind that felt alive, pulsating with the tension of four heartbeats–three prisoners, one captorI leaned against the cool wall watching the scene unfold in front of me. The dim light barely illuminated Alex striking features accentuated by the flickering shadows "step within five feet of her and you're gone" he warned his voice low and menacing, a predator stalking it's prey. The three figures tied to a chair flinched at his words, their muffled cries, barely escaping the fabric binding Thier mouths.I wish I could feel sympathy for them but the disgust I felt was overwhelming. They had tried to hurt Blue. Torn apart the fragile peace she had managed to build. The irony of it all–those who should have protected her plotted her downfall. Damian sat in his sleek modern office ,the soft hum of the technology sounding. He was deep into a project when his personal driver, Marco called. The tone in Marco's voice as urgent, cutting through the usual calm and Damian's day."Sir, Miss Harper has been in the apartment for a while now, she notified me if she didn't come out in a few minutes I should call for help" Damian raised an eyebrow, irritation creeping into his voice "I don't remember my number being 911" he ended the call trying to redirect his focus back to the spreadsheet on his screen. But just as he settled back into his work, his phone rang " Kitty" flashed across the screen and an instilling feeling settled in his gut. Something was definitely wrong. Without hesitation he answer the call, but all he could hear was muffled sounds, please...panic.With a rapid movement, he grabbed his coat and dashed out of the office calling Marco for the location. When he arrived at the apartment building, urgency propelled him for
Damian leaned back in his chair, the dim light of the room casting shadows across his sharply defined features. The laughter that erupted from him was hearty but edged with something raw, something Blue couldn't quite place. To her it sounded crude, a ravenous noise that echoed through the tension laden air between them. "You think I'm like those horny ass men who'd do anything for a spread leg or do you think I'm that easy?" He challenged, turning his chair to face her directly."I own you, so I decide when you get into that pussy of yours."The intensity of his gaze felt like a physical weight pressuring down on her and she instinctively gulped, holding her breath as if the very air between them had thickened. "I'm sorry.. I just" Blue began but the words caught in her throat as tears streamed down her face.Confusion flickered across Damian's features, his brow furrowing in disbelief "the hell you crying for?" He asked frustrated, running a hand through his tousled hair. Sighing as
