V2 Chapter 72 Piecing Together Ash 1/2

Terrius POV

We waited outside of Jessica's room, the Queen pacing back and forth filled with worry. We had to remove Princess Sana since she burst into tears. Whiskers followed her to comfort her. After what felt like forever, Kaen finally opens the door.

" How is she?"

Her Majesty asked as she did her best to sound okay.

" I managed to fix her mind but part of her soul was missing. I have done all I can but .... she feels like something that shouldn't be part of this world..... very unnatural. ...."

Kaen sighs as he leans against the wall next to the door and falls on his bum. He sat on the ground depressed as he held his knees to his face. The Queen, Manor, and I immediately rush in to see Jessica. She was sitting on her bed and was looking out the window, she then noticed us, turn, and gave us a smile. I was overwhelmed with an ominous feeling that she shouldn't be there. Like it was very wrong for her to be there and it shook me with fear.
