*Claire’s Point of View*
---
We broke off from the kiss, and Sammy flinched as she got the sight of the person who spoke.
"Dad, I… Uh... What are you… do-doing here?" She asked while stammering, and I felt my body turn stiff.
Sh*t, that was unexpected. And we're surely in big trouble right now.
"The question is... What are you doing? Is that why you don't have time to visit me at the mansion, or even have meals with me because you are busy with someone else? And for God's sake, Sam, a girl? I didn't race you to be an immoral citizen." Her dad ranted, and she's just staring at the floor intently. F*ck it! He's a flaming homophobe.
"Dad, it's not that. I… uh… we… The
*Claire’s Point of View*---"Is this a prank, Mom?" I asked and looked her in the eyes to see the truth. She took a deep breath, and she seemed serious.I turned my gaze to the man, and he wanted to touch me, so I stepped backward. And he spoke."Claire Daven, I am so sorry for leaving an----" He started, but I cut him off. I just don't know what I am feeling right at this moment."Just don't..." I uttered, and I breathed heavily to control my anger. I can't deal with him right now."Claire, take a seat first. Let's talk about this." Mom stated as she walked near me.I just shook my head and turned my back to them, and then I went running out to the door.I heard my mom call me, but I didn't bother to look back. And as I arrived at the garage, I revved Nikki and drove somewhere away from here. I don't know where I'll go. And I don't want to bother my cousin or anyone at all.My tears are running down my face, and I haven't worn my helmet. And I deci
*Claire’s Point of View*---"Uh, do I... uh, know you?" I asked the girl cluelessly since she's so happy seeing and knowing that it's me.Well, there are lots of people who knew me after all."Oh, uh... No, but I know you. I am someone's sister that knows you. I mean, I have a sister that knows you. Uh, a classmate of yours in elementary school." She stammered, and I just gave her a very confused face. She looks like she's twenty-something up. And she's pretty. But no one is prettier than my girl. No, my girl is not pretty; she is gorgeous. Yep. And I miss her badly."Umm, there's a lot of them? Uh, which exactly?" I asked her, and I really don't have any idea who she is."Well, do you remember a girl that always made fun of you back in your primary days?" She asked, and she's making this harder for me. There are also lots of them.I just gave her a more confused look while I took a sip of the cocktail I ordered."Samantha Rivers? That very annoying littl
*Samantha’s Point of View* --- I don't know what the date is today. And I think it has been a century since I am locked up in my own house and my own room. My tears are threatening to fall again as I saw Red's picture on my nightstand. I miss her so much, and I hope she's doing well right now. I sighed and went to the bathroom to fix myself. I think dad is staying here for a while to make sure that I am suffering really well. He's such an a**hole. Now, I just realized why mom left him. He's selfish, and he's an a**hole. Did I mention that already? If Mom were just here, she wouldn't do something like this to me. I
*Samantha’s Point of View*---"Where do you think you are---" Dad was about to ask but stopped when he got the sight of the woman before him."Samara?" He asked in disbelief, and I guess he just can't believe his eyes.He just arrived from somewhere I don't care, and I don't want him getting in my way. I will go to the hospital."Hi, Dad! It's been a long time." She greeted him, and he wanted to get near her, but she stepped back. And Sam remembered that we're going to the hospital."I... What… uh." He can't compose a word, and we're about to head to the door."I'm taking Sam with me. We'll go to the hospital." She said sternly, and we walked past him."What? No, you're not taking Samantha away from me. Stay here, Sam." He belted and blocked our way."But, Dad! Claire got into an accident, and I don't know what happened to her. Please, I want to see her." I begged him, and he is also shocked by the information."Please, Dad. Don't be selfish this time
*Samantha’s Point of View* --- A week has passed, and it's Christmas now. This is my loneliest Christmas ever. I am still locked up in my house, and I haven't revisited Red. Shane visited the other day and told me that Red hadn't woken yet. But, thankfully, the doctor said that she's doing great. My only Christmas wish is that Red and I will be together again, and she will be okay. Samara has visited me often for the past week, and she went back to London yesterday. She said she'll celebrate Christmas with Mom. I just can't help but wonder why my mother left my father, but she never got married again. I thought she cheated on him? The girls mailed me letters since they can't reach my phone. And they also gave me
*Samantha’s Point of View*---"Samantha?" The woman asked me, and she's about to cry.She walked to me, and I didn't know what to say to her. Should I forgive her?"Mom?" I said in a shaky voice, and tears started to fall from my eyes. She smiled while she's crying and finally wrapped her arms around me."Is this you, my Samantha?" She asked while sobbing and kissing my head.I nodded, and I'm crying too. I missed her so much. It's been a decade. And she still smells the same."I'm so sorry, Sam, that I've left you. I should've brought you here. I'm so sorry." She apologized as we sat on the couch.I have been wiping my tears with the scarf that dad gave me. He's right. I really need this."I missed you so much, Mom," I told her, and she kissed my forehead."I missed you too, Sam. There has not been a day that I don't think of you. I'm such a bad mother. I'm so sorry." She expressed and kept apologizing. This feeling is so wonderful. I never thought
*Samantha’s Point of View*---It's already 10:15 pm, and we still have an hour and forty-five minutes before midnight.I decided to just stroll at this place, and I found myself on a balcony. I thought Sam's gonna meet me here? And how can we see each other if we can't identify faces and I don't have a freaking phone? They are just so stupid. They should have just given me a damn phone so that I can finally call my girlfriend. Yes, I will really run away with her one day.Someone cleared their throat behind me, and I didn't bother to look at them. I can't identify who it is, and I don't know anybody at this party except my dad and my sister."Can I join you here?" She asked, and I just took a sip from my soda can. Yes, I really did order soda. I would want a choco, but it will just make me miss Red so much."I don't own the place. So, you can stay wherever you want." I told her coldly as I looked up at the sky. It's clear from clouds, and stars are shining to t
*Samantha’s Point of View* --- We both gasped for air as our lips parted. I hugged her tight, and she caressed my back. I'm crying now, and that's making her neck wet because of my tears. "I missed you so much, Red," I sobbed, and she breathed in deeply. "I missed you too, Sammy. I'm here now. Don't cry, please." She confessed and looked me in the eyes. I am more than happy tonight. But how is this happening? She wiped my tears as she removed my mask. A familiar smile crept on her face, and she kissed my forehead. It's really her. I am never mistaken. I have fallen for this same girl three times already. She removed her mask, and I finally got the sight
*Claire’s Point of View* --- "Samantha, I'm so sorry for being so hard on you and with Claire. I know you can't forgive me easily, but I'm trying my best to be a good father to you, both, soon." Rick apologized to her daughter. Well, he really needs a lot of apologizing to do for being so mean to my ex-girlfriend. Yeah, ex. Sammy is in her deep thoughts, and I can't help but look at her with adoration. She just looks so perfect. She's my everything, and I'm ready to do everything for her. I still remember a day before Christmas when I barged into Richard Rivers' office and threatened him that I would bring him down with all I got. During that time, I didn't think of anything else but to be with Sammy. He was tak
*Samantha’s Point of View*---"Go, Sam," Samara told me, and I slowly walked up to the stage while the people clapped their hands. My hands start to sweat, and I feel like I'm about to melt."My daughter will be the one to continue my legacy, and I just know that she is capable of doing that." My father spoke, and I am looking at the floor since I am not used to being in front of a huge crowd, especially in the business world.I'm not proud of just following his steps. He might be a successful businessman, but he sucks at a lot of things. One is being the head of a family, and the rest is him being a selfish a**hole."Dad, what is this?" I asked him as he gave the mic to the man beside him.I can't clearly see his face because I can only see his side view."Just do what I want you to do, Sam. Trust me, you'll thank me after all of this. It's the only way that can make our lives better." He replied, and it made me more puzzled. Is it only business that he
